SHOWA Atlas 451XL-10 Palm Coating Natural Rubber Glove, 10-Gauge Insulated Seamless Knitted Liner, General Purpose Work, X-Large (Pack of 12 Pairs)

During the 2016 holiday season when I started working for UPS, I had issues with gloves. Package handlers are given gloves whenever they need them, but they only satisfy the bare minimum necessities and do not last. One morning, I forgot my gloves at home and there were none to take at work. A co-worker of mine gave me a new pair of these, and my goodness.

First, the feel. You slip your hand into a pair of these, and they hug you back. They feel secure enough to work without worrying about them coming off.
The grip is stupendous and one of the main things I love about these. I can literally pick up and carry a 15 pound box by a single corner, though I would advise not to do things like this repeatedly for the sake of your wrists. My working speed improved after I stopped having to worry about things slipping out of grip.
Are they warm? I used these during the Winter peak season inside a giant warehouse without any heaters. Lots of bitter cold wind in my work area. I did have issues staying warm. These help somewhat, but if they get wet with sweat, their effectiveness is worn down and eventually feel like ice cubes around your hands. Not saying they're perfect, but they are much better than anything else.

Price and Durability.
Okay, I use these every single day, handling boxes from lord knows where. They get dirty. After a few days they start to stink and turn dark grey. Now what? No, you don't throw them away. You can wash these a few times! Heck, I've washed them over and over again until the fingertips wear out. A single pair lasts me a month, easily! For the price, I would say these give you quite the bang for the buck.

I build homes in the winter. In the cold winter. In the what-the-hell-am-I-doing-outside winter. Spend many a day out in the 0-20 degrees Fahrenheit weather, and I bought these based on the reviews. I have rather poor circulation and frequently deal with frozen appendages. I was skeptical of how gloves this thin could keep me warm, but I can't run a pneumatic or a saw in ski gloves...

Well, they worked. Very rare were the moments when I just had to go to the trailer and nuke my hands in front of the space heater. Pretty remarkable.

In addition, they're really durable. They last quite a good long while. I'll get a few weeks out of a set before I wear through the fingertips or palm.

High quality and warm, these are my go-to outdoor winter work gloves. They are grippy, washable, and warm. They will wear out eventually, but they are meant for working and wearing. That's why they come in a 12-pack. These are worth every penny you'll pay for them.

They are meant to be tight to allow for full finger control, so I recommend buying one size smaller than you would typically expect.

When it's extra cold outside I like to use these gloves as a base layer and put on a pair of these over the top: Glacier Glove Alaska River Fleece Fingerless Fishing Glove (Black, X-Large) I buy the Glacer glvoes two sizes lerger and slip them right over my Atlas gloves. (Ex: M Atlas with XL Glacier). The combo makes for the ultimate outdoor grippy winter working gloves, and I still have full function of all of my fingers.

I use these all through winter to do snow measurements for CoCoRaHS. They greatly improve my grip on the cold slippery outer tube of my rain/snow gauge - way better than leather.

I also use them when changing the oil on all my vehicles and toys; when snow blowing my driveway; when wrapping up cold hoses; when cutting, splitting, and stacking firewood; when pulling weeds and other garden and yard work - anytime I need a good grip on a handle.

They seem plenty warm to me and the thickness adds cushioning to the handling of hard things like firewood.

I wash mine in the washing machine and lay them out to dry. If you dry them in the dryer, they tend to collect a bunch of fuzzies and any dog/cat hair that might be in the load.

The natural rubber part loses its texture if you get gasoline on them - it doesn't fall off, it just gets smooth.

Been wearing atlas gloves for years. The only gloves I can use for tree work in the winter as I need the dexterity to tie and untie knots and also grip branches while Cutting and throwing from the bucket truck. They're certainly not the warmest glove on the market but you should already know that if you're buying these. If you don't keep moving and the rubber gets cold you're all done. But finding a 12 pack for amazons price at around 2 bucks a pair this was a no brainer vs spending 4.99-7.99 / pair depending on where I got them. Now I don't have to worry about wearing them out!!! Definitely great for firewood as well. Awesome dexterity

unless it's over 80 degrees, i use these gloves (if too hot, then the thinner atlas blue gloves). amazing grip (at first too much but after a day's use, perfect), warmth, and most importantly, flexible enough to be skin tight. feels great, works great, lasts long as i expect it to, and for working with logs and trees, can't think of a better glove to use. i would try the white ox gloves ( have not tried), but this is perfect so not much motivation to try any other glove

The coating is thick enough that I've used them to pull thistles and to prune a very prickly rose bush (carefully, without grasping the rose too hard). They grip well and have a little more warmth than standard work gloves. And they provide a little extra cushion if you're carrying a heavy bucket.

The only downside is that they have a noticeable odor, which is a little unpleasant if you care about that.

These are the best work gloves I've ever owned. As an all purpose glove doing landscape work and concrete block walls to mowing and wheel barrowing. To me, it's an all year glove, quite durable as well. However, not recommended for roses and other thorny plants...leather for that! Well worth their value compared to something similar at a big box store!

awesome gloves... price is right and they are great for cold weather chores (snow shovel, raking, yardwork, etc)... however, my hands did NOT stay warm during recent 25F and below prolonged cold spell - granted it was also rather windy... still, highly recommend these gloves - especially at this price point... gave a pair to each of my sons and still had 9 in reserve!

Worth paying a bit extra for these gloves that fit well, give good protection and hold up over time. The rubber part works w/ wet stuff and can be rinsed latter and hung up to dry if they get soiled.
