Gordini Men's Promo Gauntlet Gore-Tex Gloves, Black, XL
Really warm, and XL fits my large hands perfectly.
Hand measurements: 8" palm base to tip of middle finger. 4" across palm at widest point.
I bought these because I was tired of getting frostbite on my hands each time I had to remove the snow from my sidewalk and driveway in Minnesota when the wind chill was -41 degrees. That's right...NEGATIVE 41. These gloves keep out all the cold and all the wind. My fingers stay nice and warm and dry. Fit as expected. Would definitely buy again.
I am pleased with this, by size. As to warmth? It is better as a driving than outdoor glove. It just isn't very warm. A liner glove does help. I won't complain, or take it down. It has always been a bit of a compromise between warmth and digit dexterity potential. I am pleased with the glove for what it can do. Further, being a bit of a fool at times, with this glove on I put my hand into the out hopper of my snowblower, thinking the spinner shut down with it in drive. Not so much. This glove saved my finger. Another man, not so far away, did the same and lost a finger or two. So...
If you are going to be sitting in the cold, best to go with mittens. Or if work is light. Though liners might help, just... it's more limited. But these are sturdy. Oh... my accident didn't damage the gloves either.
Nice and toasty! They run a bit big, but has room for a liner if needed. Kept my finger tips warm and hands nice and dry while cleaning up snow in this last brutal winter in Maine. Had long outdoor exposure with these gloves due to the amount of snowfall we ere getting hit with all at once. My next test of these gloves is riding my motorcycle after the sand and salt are cleaned off the roads. Temps will still be in the low 50's. But I will be riding with hand/wind guards on my bikes, a pair of rain proof over-gloves and glove liners inserts and possibly heated grips if I have the time to install them. I really don't foresee a numb finger scenario this year. Thank gosh for Gore-Dex! They blow my old "Thinsulate" gloves out of the water!
I've had warmer but I've had worse too. I wear glove liners inside while riding and it does the trick. It'll do a decent job staving off the stabbing holy crap do I still have fingers anymore feeling. Forget about getting anything out of a pocket, or using hand controls or pretty much doing anything with these on. They are very very bulky and anything ambidextrous you need is gonna require taking one off. Not water resistant in a heavy storm. Morning fog crossing a river or a small shower may be OK though.

Warm up, stay dry, and keep on enjoying the winter with these durable gauntlet gloves from Gordini, featuring a Gore-TEX waterproof, breathable liner. Quick adjustable cuff strap and drawstring bottom keep the gloves tight. Reinforced palm. Material: Polyester.
Purchased as a gift for my husband. He was very pleased. He used them to clean up the 10” inches of snow we received on Christmas Day. He said they were warm and comfortable for the hour+ that he was outside snow blowing and shoveling. The gauntlet style of the cuff fit nicely with his jacket and kept his wrists warm and dry. He was most pleased that when he pulled the glove off, the inner lining did not come out with his hand, it was securely stitched in place.
My hands are X large and I normally have a problem finding gloves. These fit just right.
For the price you can't beat this glove.
I do a lot of wild harvesting in the winter time. And in doing so I also am a cross-country skier to get to the spot I need to be.
Past weekend I endured winter storms. Cold weather right around 20°. With the windchill factor probably 5°. These clothes worked out just perfectly. Even when my hands were wet. It's seem to keep my hands dry and warm.
When I came home I just turn the gloves inside out so I could eaily dry them.
This is the kind of glove you look for at the kind of price that it is available at. I'm actually thinking about buying another pair for next year.
But I'm hoping I get two or three years of use out of these.
Very comfortable and soft inside, makes bike rides below freezing much more enjoyable. But as you would expect with this design and bulk you give up some dexterity. So use caution if using these for riding. I didn't use for skiing yet but I imagine these are perfect.
Best cold weather glove I’ve used. I had on my new pair of Columbia gloves at a recent ski jump competition, standing aroung my hands got so cold, got the finger pains. Remembered I put these in my storage box in truck. Put these gloves on, and within half hour we’re back to warm and toasty. They stay dry too. Good for upper peninsula winters. My son loves his pair for snowmobiling.
Fit perfectly, great in the snow and my hands don't get wet. Not sweaty or from snow. These are perfect gloves for snow blowing or just making snowmen with the kids.
