For years, we've been asking various utility techs and maintenance workers to take off their shoes when entering our apartment since we have light colored carpets and try to keep them reasonably clean. We recently realized that we should just get a pack of these disposable booties, which is so much easier! We keep them right by the front door, so if someone needs to pop in, they can just slip these on in 2 seconds. We've also found them useful, ourselves, when we've already put on our shoes and then realize we need something in the house before leaving.
We also keep a few pairs in the car, to avoid tracking sand and mud into the car. These little booties are really quite useful, and seem to be good quality. I had an internet tech guy wearing them; he put them on and took them off multiple times as he had to go check wires and cable boxes outside the house, and they looked as good as new - no rips. The material feels durable, I think they can be used a lot before needing to throw them out. They also accommodate large men's workboots, which was hard to find, as most other brands seem to run on the small side.

I do home automation/video/audio systems for multi-million dollar homes. I wear redwing boots size 9 and they fit fine but i do have to sit and put them on carefully or they will rip. I just did a job with 3 other guys installing cameras in a 3-story mansion. In and out pulling wire from inside the home to the attic and then to the sofits and then up the ladder to install the cameras. work took 2 days. In those two days i used maybe 4 or 5 pairs of these guys. I don't know what people are expecting of these things giving them poor reviews. They're temporary so of course they're going to rip!!!! I had the bottom of my boots filled with mud and i just slipped a new pair of booties on and walked on carpets that cost more than my apartment and everything stayed clean. When i took the cover off all the mud had collected inside and fallen off my boot. Yes if there was a rip in it I would have muddied the whole house but that is why you check before you walk in or get a new pair. Also keep in mind that the "traction" pattern on the bottom is meaningless. It is fabric so it is slippery on wooden floors or tiles but just walk instead of run and you'll be fine :)
Great size. A lot bigger than ones that I bought in the past so my housekeepers can get them on and off quicker. To be honest the skids at the bottom are just for looks because there isn't real traction on them, but that's not a big deal to me.
I Do NOT allow anyone in my house with shoes on. I never get sick because I'm a germaphobe who won't allow shoes to walk into my home (and I make everyone wash their hands, but that's besides the point). You carry everything out there in on the bottom of your shoes. For stubborn people that come over and don't want to remove their shoes...they can use these or not come in at all.
I'm happy. I'll order the bigger pack next time.
The link the seller had me click on to do this review said "These are Amazing." I'm not sure I would call them "Amazing" because after all, they are shoe covers. However, I wear a size 12 wide shoe and these worked really well. I used them to tour a resort property I am buying and was going in and out of many cabins. The cover fit well and were durable. I even ripped one a little and it still covered my shoes just fine. They came on and off without issue. I definitely would recommend these shoe covers to anyone who need some AMAZING shoe covers.
My husband is in construction and wears work boots, he has been using the same pair for over a week actually he forgot to take them off when going out,ended up wearing them running around doing his errands to home depot when someone noticed he had them on and they still never ripped,So in my opinion these covers are made to last. I have 3 baskets full, one basket at each door for our family when running in and out and our guest can either remove their shoes (put on warm slipper socks) or they can put the covers on their shoes,oh also they have a great grip too we have hardwood and tile floors and no one slips. this neat freak would give them 10 stars oh happy day

Cheaper than expected. They do slip on tile floors and they are very cheap, they rip easily whether socks or sneakers. And if you have dirty sneakers and step on wet floors while wearing these due to being thin the water carries the dirt right through and ur trekking dirt

I just want to say that the company reached out to me this week based on my dissatisfaction with the product not being waterproof or strong enough to prevent dirt from passing through the booty on to my floors when wet. They gave me options to rectify my dissatisfaction which they did not have to do after all this time, and also made me aware of the waterproof version of their booties which they do have. They are sending me them to try which i do hope they are exactly what im looking for because these are the type of businesses i like to put my money into, they actually give a crap about their consumer which is why im changing my star rating to 5, nothing better than knowing if you dont like the product the company will try their best to get you what you are looking for or reimburse you even if its a yr later... thanks blue shoe guys. (& no i was not asked to change my rating-that would have turned me off - they’re completely genuine and it’s appreciated)
I owe the Blue Shoe Guys an update to my review. They showed me my error in how to use the product. The shoe covers fit my steel toed shop boots fairly well. I wish they covered the tops of my boots a little better, but they cover about 85%. This is a big deal when protecting my boots while spraying large cabinets with white lacquer. As is, they do a good job of protecting my shoes from overspray.
I am changing my rating from one to four stars and I recommend these to anyone wanting to protect their boots when spraying paint. Buy this product
I currently have issues with chronic wounds on my lower legs and feet and use shoe covers over my bandaged feet before wrapping them in ace bandages. I have ordered several different kinds and have found that the ones made by Blue Shoe Guys are AMAZING! They are consistently high quality which does not happen with other brands, they are well made, thick and have very high quality. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs to cover shoes or for other uses. My friend who asks people to take off their shoes has these available for people to use, I recommended them to her and she is extremely happy with their quality.
update I love the product but the constant emails to review it after I have reviewed it are irritating and caused me to lower the review.
So far great value for the money my size 12 is not an issue even with wet shoes from the grass so far great
I love these shoe covers!!! I wanted to wait till we had a crummy rainy day before trying them out to pick up the beloved dog droppings that I always manage to step in and I am so happy to say my shoes survived.
