Ringers R-314 Extrication Gloves, Cut Resistant Work Gloves, Yellow,

Ringers R-314 Extrication Gloves, Cut Resistant Work Gloves, Yellow, X-Large

Ringers R-314 Extrication Gloves, Cut Resistant Work Gloves, Yellow, X-Large

These run a little small. They are also stiffer with all of the protective surfaces. Your hands will fatigue a little quicker than with a looser and lighter material glove. They do protect your hands.

Update: after several months of use - I would buy them again. They are holding up. They have loosened up some, but the rubber bits still make it stiffer than others. They are my "go-to" outdoor glove unless I need to replace a bolt/nut or anything that size.

Used during a week long VMR tech course. The gloves worked great and handled everything that was thrown at them.

I love these gloves. I work on a Ranch and these really protect your hands when working the field clearing brush, removing wood, tree branches and other debris. Works well handling wire too.

Great for handling hot light bulbs, and Hot Lizards, my grumpy Gila try’s to nail me and grabs the big thick rubber finger protectors.
Very flexible so I can handl him with them on, great gloves.

Really like these gloved. Fit is nice and the grips are great. Guys have asked about these and would buy them again. Use them from extrication to rope rescue.

These are very excellent gloves. The first benefit is the standardized fitting. With leather gloves, there is always the chance that the left and right hand gloves may not really be the same size. With these gloves, what you buy, is what you get.

They are lightweight, even when wet, and they dry well over a heat duct, or just on a bench in a work room. They are tough and you can grab something without being cut. They work well for firewood cutting because with the elastic cuff, your gloves don't fill up with chips. If you work in a muddy situation, you can rinse the gloves off with a hose.

The XXX-Large gloves are difficult to find, and I am glad Amazon carries them. They have a broad reach between thumb and index finger when picking up pieces of firewood. They grip well. The yellow color makes them easier to find in a work area.

After working with them for a while, when I went to put on my gloves, I found a cut in one of the fingers. I appreciated that it wasn't in my hand, but the rest of the glove was still in good condition. I put on a pair of latex gloves, put my finger into the cut glove finger then spread Shoe Goo, or some form of GOOP glues over the cut on the outside. When the glue dried, I could use the gloves again. [ You do not have to keep your finger in the glove, until the glue dries... ]

Also you can use Shoe Goo or some form of GOOP glues when the reinforcement "leather" comes loose because of the little stitches they use. Just spread a little glue under the loose flap, press it down and hold it in place with masking tape for a while, and the glove is "good as new."

BTW- If you're in blackberry country, these don't work for pulling them. The thorns pierce right through. For that work, you may well want to go back to thick leather gloves.

Even in size small they run big. However they are on point in every other aspect and for that they get 4 stars. Would have been 5 if they were smaller.

The new style has Kevlar across the whole black surface of the glove, now! Fit was great, not too big a fan of the rubber bumpers on the fingers, but I will continue to buy these gloves based on previous purchases until the company goes under. Worth every penny!

These are great gloves! Used for vehicle extrication plenty of times and they are comfortable, the dexterity is great, and the durability is incredible. Unfortunately I stored them in a not so great place and the left glove fell out of the engine on a veg fire... but well worth the money for only having one now

I have used these gloves for many, many years and they are great. Good dexterity and durability. Palms, fingers and knuckle areas have very rough grit panels that hold up well to wear and grip well. But if you forget about these panels and wipe your nose with the back of your hand, you might lose some skin! The colored fabric is not heat resistant, it will melt. the leather gets very stiff after being wet, but loosens with use.
