I wanted to add some visability to my my Harley riding gear. Black bike, black vest, black t shirts....
I ordered an orange face buff, orange sun sleeves, and these gloves.
I've asked a few people...and I've checked out pics of myself riding in groups...you can really see the difference.
The only color more noticeable is the neon green/yellow...but I like that Orange/Black are Harley colors.
The gloves themselves are great - if you never tried Mechanix gloves...you should, they are a good glove and last pretty well too.
I've owned a number of pairs of Mechanix Gloves, love them. I bought black, blue and orange over the years now. I primarily use them for working out to lift weights. I usually don't like weight lifting with gloves, prefer bare hands. But over the years, my calluses would get bad over time, causing blisters in the palms of my hand. I did not like traditional workout out gloves where it had bulkiness/cushion in the palms and the fingers were exposed, making weight lifting feel un-natural to my liking. I was overseas in Afghanistan one year and decided to try a pair of these for a work out sessions. These gloves fit nicer than OJ Simpsons' and feels more natural on the hand with good grip. Over the years been only buying these gloves, as overtime the gloves start to wear off. It's ok though because they're great around fixing the house and working on the car in the garage.
I bought these to work on my truck. I used them when it was 35 F out to install a new down pipe back exhaust. They did protect my hands. And at that temp they actually keep my hands kinda warm. The padding on the top is not the thickest, but it did prevent bloody knuckles when I used them. I did still feel the impact of the slips, just not the broken skin.
Would I buy these again? Yes. But only to work on the Auto's. I would not use them for general purpose gloves. I would not use them for doing demo or construction.
I love the originals. I get a couple hundred hours out of each pair. Be careful around heat- they will melt. I think they were higher quality material about a decade ago, but they still do the job and i haven't found a pair with better dexterity.
Great for my son who is forester.

Bought these for my husband because he is a tow truck driver. They were holding up great until he snagged them in the wench and ripped them from wrist to finger. They arent as rugged as I'd have liked but for light use and keeping your hands clean they are great!
I like them but size L was a bit bigger than I wanted. Maybe I'm just getting old and shrinking.
Very nice fit
Nice gloves and great fit but wear out quickly. Already have holes in the fingers after a few weeks.
Fit as expected and great high quality product.
