These appear to be very well made gloves. However, be forewarned - they tend to run large. I usually wear a large glove but have been known to wear mediums on many occasions. In other words, my hand is on straddles medium and large. I ordered the large size and they are decidedly too large for my hand - so much so that I decided I couldn't even use them. A medium glove would have fit perfectly. I gave them to a friend rather than return them. If your hand straddles sizes like mine then you should order the smaller size.
As some people have noticed, the left glove is intentionally beefier to be "cut resistant," not a mismatched pair.
Seem decent enough, only odd thing was one glove had the label sewn inside, the other, on the outside. Such is the risk when you manufacture in Pakistan...
Very comfortable and is a great glove. I've yet to find a glove that a chainsaw won't rip into but these gloves make me feel a lot safer. It's to late to wish you had a better glove when you are out cutting firewood or clearing a lot and an accident happens. Go safe when dealing with a chainsaw. Comfortable fit, not overly pricey and protection from cuts, scraps and splinters. I am very happy with this purchase.
Haven't used in actual chainsaw action yet, but they seem mostly solid, although the leather portions seem a little weak.
As a lot of other people have stated, they run large. I have pretty big hands, but I bought the medium size, and it fits great. Normally, when I buy leather gloves, I get the XL-size, but these mediums fit me very well.
Only 4 stars because of the price, though.
These are great gloves, I would have gave 4 stars if had extra padding on the top of the right glove to match the extra padding that is on the top of the left glove. They do run big. I usually get large gloves, but ordered the mediums anf they are slightly bigger than I would have liked but they are great gloves. I do recommend them.

Unlike most utility, leather gloves that are bulky and wear out too quickly, these fit very well and have been resistant to wearing out. I can even pick up small screws or nuts that fall on the floor without taking them off. I originally bought these for chain saw use, but find myself using them for other jobs as well so I am buying a couple of extra pairs. Highly recommended.
Great protective gloves for use while cutting wood. Comfortable and reassuring to know I'm protected when using the chainsaw. I will say that I've never needed to use the protective aspect of the gloves so I don't know how they will hold up if the chainsaw were to run into them. The 'protective padding' on the glove seem to be of a similar thickness as the chaps and I know from other reviews they WILL handle a chainsaw blade running into them. Good quality.
Gloves seem to be well made. They haven't had a run-in with a chain saw yet so don't know how well they will protect me.
It should be noted that these are designed to be used by right handed people. The protection for left hand is not a much.
I shopped around and this was the best price. They are slighty large on my small hands even though I ordered the smaller size, but still I am much better off now owning these. I think we tend to be over confident in our use of the chainsaw. But in buying a more powerful saw than I've ever used in my 61 years here, it seemed maybe I should consider proper safety equipment. These gloves were included in what I purchased. Nicely made and comfortable!
Very nice gloves. I purchased these for my husband and he could not be happier. They are heavy enough to protect, but also breathable for comfortable summer work. The left glove is more heavily protected with the safety threads in the top. The right glove does not have the safety threads since that is your chainsaw operating hand. Highly recommended!
