Indispensable apron. Typical Carhartt heavy duty canvas stands up to stone, metal a wood that I work with daily and it protects my clothing underneath. Is it weird that I think in the world of work aprons, this one is fairly flattering to a woman?--it doesn't feel squared off or bulky, it just kind of fits my body so much better than other, heavy duty work aprons I've tried. Having all the pockets is amazing, the zipper pocket is a great idea, I also wish there was a snap pocket with a flap. The straps are adjustable, so it's easy to get the fit you want, raised up higher on your chest or lower, and how fitted you'd like it to be around your body so you don't need to worry about it catching on something or being too loose, unless you like to wear it that way. I also agree with the reviewer named "Kris": I wish the straps were made with a slightly more durable material: while they're soft and don't chafe, when you weigh down the apron with heavy tools, the straps start to feel a little flimsy. I don't do this often enough to warrant padding there, but a seat belt strap pad could possibly be added on. I also agree that I wish there was a buckle on the back instead of a tie. It's easy enough to add your own buckle, but would be nice if the apron came that way instead. In all, a great purchase and one I use daily.
The Apron is made well. The material is thick and I feel like it will protect my clothes and hold tools very well. I love that it’s shorter. I used to have to fold men’s work aprons at the waist so the length didn’t get in my way. I love all the pockets. Especially the zip pocket and the loop on the side to hang my drill for brief moments instead of having to continuously set it down. One improvement I would like is for the straps to be made of a little more quality material. They work fine and hold up, but if you’re loading the apron down with weight from tools it would be nice to have some padding in the shoulders. Also it would be nice to have a buckle closure in the back instead of ties. Regardless, the apron is quality, and I would buy again.
I work in a Metalsmith studio all day and need a comfortable work apron. I've never found one that didn't creep to one side of my chest, covering just one of my boobs, requiring annoying, constant adjustments throughout the day. I ordered this apron, and it FITS PERFECTLY and DOESN'T CREEP. It's the best apron I've ever worn. Being Carhartt, it's very durable and provides awesome protection, lots of pockets, and it's very adjustable. I recommend this to any woman who needs good coverage while in the shop (any work shop!). Don't mess around with those made for the boys any longer, lol.
I am an active homesteader and after the winter was looking for a functional wardrobe piece to take the place of my many pocket-ed heavy duty winter coat. This fit the bill. I was a little concerned that it may not fit my somewhat plus sized middle part. But was very pleasantly surprised that it fits great with room to spare. It is very well made, has many pockets which I find very useful and keeps the worst of the barn junk off of me. Great addition.
I love this apron. I work at a retail garden center and it can hold all of my tools, gloves, notepad and pen and more. It looks great too!

The usual Carhartt high quality and functionality. It made a perfect Xmas gift for one of my women friends who is a landscape designer, motorcycle mechanic and great cook.
I ordered this for work to keep paint off my clothes. It’s thick without being TOO thick, and looks great. I love it!
