Wells Lamont Leather Fencer Work Gloves, HydraHyde, Suede Cowhide, Large

Wells Lamont Leather Fencer Work Gloves, HydraHyde, Suede Cowhide, Large (1019L)

Wells Lamont Leather Fencer Work Gloves, HydraHyde, Suede Cowhide, Large (1019L)

I cut 7-8 cords of wood each year and tear through gloves. The reinforced grip areas make these last longer than most and prevent the worst of the blisters I usually get as gloves wear through from axe-swinging. Where they still wear, as most other gloves, is in the fingers as picking up the tree rounds and split pieces is pretty hard on the glove finger tips. I wrap the finger tips in duct tape and this helps a lot. Once I wear through these gloves (I haven't yet, after cutting several cords with them) I will buy the same.

I do mostly light garden work around the house. These were comfortable, and I liked the reinforced areas around the palm. However, the finger surfaces disintegrated/holes appeared after about 2yrs. They were good while they lasted, though a harder working individual may wear through them faster.

Get better the more you use them. Sturdy leather and have found the additional leather on key points of hand have paid off tremendously in all work environments.

The gloves are great, they fit comfortably and are good quality. I have had cheaper leather gloves and after having used these I realize the benefit of paying the extra money. I expect these to last me awhile.

These are made to do actual work. Blackberry bushes? No problem. Breaking up palettes? Sure thing! Chopping and stacking firewood? You betcha! They've stood up to regular abuse, don't shrink if wetted, and don't show any wear thus far after almost a year of being on the job.

This set is of the very best quality manufacturing and product on the marketplace. Seller is also fantastic! Don't take my word for it. Buy this and see for yourself.

I use these for rock-climbing and rapelling. The double palm works really good to stop rope burn and the artificial leather is water repellant. Overall a good choice.

Second pair in 4 years, even though the first pair are still going strong. I like they are thin and supple enough to be able to move my hands and still have all my dexterity. I'm cutting fire wood in Alaska with axe, mail and saw. Overall a great product.

Still a bit big for my small hands....! can wear cotton liners....the best part is NO YELLOW/ORANGE STAINING OF MY HANDS!!!

Great gloves have used them quite a bit. Has one hole due to stiching comeing un done. Pretty typical of any glove i guess
