Mechanix Wear - Leather Original Gloves (Large, Brown/Black)

So far 1 month in and they are lasting strong, I work on asphalt maintenance and the calluses on my hands are thicker than any leather gloves you can buy, I need gloves for hot material and these gloves will let you lift a pan of boiling water. Normally gloves don't last me more than a month so 8+ pairs of gloves a year very abusive on gloves. I love how light weight and durable these gloves are, I previously had mechanix 4x material impact gloves but I think original leather is the way to go, I see problem spots in the leather fingers but no holes in the leather yet. Only 1 hole in 1 glove in the material that connects the leather. FINGERS ARE LONG, I ordered smaller gloves because I need tight gloves for full finger usage and these gloves have looong fingers I find it problematic but that's the only bad thing I can say about the gloves

Just received my new mechanix gloves. I am extremely happy with the fit and finish. The leather on the palms is borderline luxurious. I actually spent a few moments stroking my face with them it feels so nice. I then spent some time rubbing my dog's head. He seemed appreciative. My last pair of gloves died a long painful death, it seems like a shame to subject these to the same. I just hope they last as long.

Bought these after ordering and returning several different pairs of gloves. Primary use is bird hunting, small game hunting, and deer hunting. They have a great tactile feel, they will not keep your hands warm and the leather is only on the palm side of the glove and is very thin, which worries me about the longevity, but they’re not terribly expensive either. I would prefer more leather on the top side/back hand area, otherwise these are decent gloves.

I have been wearing motocross gloves while working on things for 30 years. Have been using mechanix wear gloves for over 10 years. The original gloves are great for shooting but tend to wear out quickly while doing outdoor chores. These are thicker material and do last much longer. I also wash my gloves frequently in the wash machine.

Recv'd the gloves as described and appear to be good. They are flexible and well made, however, when ordering them, I should have ordered the next size up as it appears that they run small. Used the sizer located on their web site, indicated a medium, but a large would have been better.

My husband is a mechanic and he loves these gloves. Amazon is the lowest price that I can find. They are expensive but he loves them. He says they are worth it because the leather molds to his hand so he can pic up small pieces and screws and actually work with his gloves on

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought these. I like them but they are a touch small. They are not small enough to justify returning them but they are smaller than I would prefer. I bought XL gloves. There might be a few men around who would wear a large but anything smaller must be meant for kids and small women.

I simply don't understand how can they provide such quality for a low price. material and craftsmanship are superior. Best gloves for the workshop. Use them during case preparation

More durable than the synthetic leather and fabric gloves. I've tried them all, this has been the longest lasting glove from Mechanix that I've used. Still very flexible.

I love these gloves. They work great and fit my hands perfectly. They are well made, and look good too in my opinion. I deal with a lot of pallets at work, and always get splinters when not wearing gloves. But ever since I started wearing these gloves, I haven't had a single splinter or piece of wood penetrate through. So they offer great protection when dealing with wood.
