I work as a merchandiser for a frozen foods company. Going from store to store I need a glove that won't soak up moisture, lets me retain my dexterity, keeps my hands warm, and can easily be removed/put on.
This glove manages to accomplish all of these requirements on different levels.
- This glove stays dry. *Be sure to dry hand before wearing, as it can cause smells and increase difficulty to insert/remove hand
-There is a break in period in which these gloves will feel firm. Give them a chance as the will start to become more flexible. The sizing may need to one size up as a medium was a very tight fit for me at first, now its not so bad.
-My hand never have a problem keeping warm. I can grap dollies, six-wheelers, carts, etc... in grocery freezer before taking to the floor and not feel any discomfort. <-One of the best things I can say about this glove.
-I can remove/ insert my hand in this glove with little to no effort. When using my cellphone its not a big task to do.
Things to consider:
Sizing- is a bit tight, might need one size up
Quality- these gloves have formed slight tears in between the thumb and index finger, this is related to sizing though. For the price I do not expect these gloves to last all year but they have treated me more than well for about two months
Grip- as it gets warmer more condensation forms so with more water there is less friction not to big of a deal but don't expect these to grip well in wet situations
Lining- condensation and wet hands can make the glove smell. I rubbed ACV (apple cider vinegar) on my hands then wear and away it goes.
Dexterity- I handled items from pizza boxes to small ice cream pints. I would not recommend if you are doing tasks such as tagging of handling anything smaller than whats mentioned.
Ninja Ice Gloves- Hello. You captured me with that name alone! Thank goodness for Amazon reviewers, I found these specifically for handling ICE, to used in physical therapy. We have all handled ice with bare hands. Ouch! Especially when the ice sticks to your hands, or how about a nasty little ice cut, because it can shear off sharp as glass!
So thanks to reading Amazon reviews, I ordered these beauties for handling ice. The benefit is felt immediately. Your hands are warm and dry and not at all bulky! The finger and palm surfaces are very "grippy." I'm tempted to wear these for winter activities instead of ski gloves! You know how ski gloves can get bulky? And lose one side of your ski gloves, and face a $60 replacement cost!
These gloves are very inexpensive, but appear to be very well made. I would rather have a few sets of these over one pair of expensive winter gloves because of how much dexterity is maintained. This is a wonderful purchase! Thank you Amazon! Thank you Amazon reviewers!!
I purchased these gloves to clean the gutters on my house. I knew I would need something to keep my hands warm and decided on these. It was a good choice. In the past, the last gutter cleaning of the season left my hands so cold I had to stop several times to warm them. (Made me want to cry they hurt so bad.) This year the weather turned cold (night temps into the teens and twenties) and snowy early so I was behind preparing for winter. Today (Dec. 2) we had temperatures into the fifties and low sixties so I decided I had to get the job done. I was pleasantly surprised. My hands stayed comfortable inside the gloves as I scooped sopping wet gunk out of the gutters. While the air temperature was fairly warm, the gunk was COLD. I will admit that by the time I finished, my fingers were cool, but not to the point of hurting. I see that the gloves were made in Pakistan. To that I say, "Bless the hands that made the gloves that kept my hands warm."
These gloves are AMAZING! I use them for work, packing and unpacking cases of fish on ice, and even with those heavy fur lined orange gloves (and two pair of gloves underneath!) my fingertips were close to getting frostbite! Literally, my index fingertip turned yellow!
With THESE gloves, I can't even feel the @#$% cold! They are SO truly amazing that other people at work have asked me to get them a pair! I've purchased 5 pair already I think lol
BUT BE WARNED!
If you get the inside lining wet, prepare to struggle turning them inside-out otherwise they will NEVER dry! That's what I call insulation.
I love this glove for warmth, fit, dexterity! It has been the warmest work glove with those attributes I have used yet.
The sizing of these gloves fit the same as Atlas Fit gloves, which are perfect for me. Other brands have poor fitting, mostly in finger length which sacrifices dexterity.
I purchased the PALM-DIPPED glove in December 2013. They fit my hands and finger lengths perfectly. Just the back of the fingertips are coated, just like most work gloves, so water will get in. My hands got wet and still stayed warm in 5 degree weather and I was hooked.
I purchased the FULLY-DIPPED glove January 2014. The problem is they fit too tight, because of the extra coating, so you should size up when ordering. When putting them on you have to rub the fingers to get the internal liner to lay comfotably but that is not a big deal and it's the same with other fully-dipped gloves I've tried. The web between the thumb and fore-finger is soo tight from the extra coating it is hard to fully spread open your thumb and working with it may tear the web coating a bit and lose some waterproofing. The finger lengths are fine just too tight overall, because of the full dip coating does not stretch enough like the palm-dipped apparently do.
In conclusion, they are great gloves, but size up on full-dipped because tight-fitting clothes of any kind inhibit blood circulation, especially in hands, and therefore inhibit warmth and will even make you sore. Just remember that when sizing up the glove will have slightly longer fingers, slightly sacrificing dexterity, but then even that is close enough for most tasks and still at least as good as most other brands' finger lengths.
I think they could take a palm-dipped glove and put a thinner coating on the back side for waterproofing that would allow more stretch and be just great with the same size.

i work at a butcher shop and setting up and breaking down the case is tough on my hands, i got these to help fight the cold and still maintain food safety regulation. these are perfect , i can just pull some large nitrile gloves over the top and the inner lining is super soft. recommended.
Alright, so I’ve been using these gloves almost daily at work in a freezer that sits around 4-6°f. I’ve got to say that they do a pretty good job at keeping my hands warm for the most part, after about 30 minutes I do start to feel the cold getting through on my fingertips. I don’t see these working for people that work in below zero environments like they claim it would. But it’ll do the trick for anything else.
these are the best!!! will NEVER buy anything else. I use it to put away my freezer loads. I work at a grocery store.
They run small, so medium fit snuggly. Waterproof and warm. I needed them to soak my horses’ hay.
Great for the walk in freezer. We love them. They last a long time too
