My hands are very important to me. This is why I have purchased and use these gloves when performing hazardous tasks around the house. They fit my smaller hands well, provide great grip and dexterity, and most importantly they keep my hands safe. They have a similar look and fit as typical gardening gloves, but offer superior all around protection. If they ever wear out, I would purchase again.

I am using the gloves for wood-turning and a bit of hand-carving and Dremel work. In this capacity they offer a sturdy grip and protection from sharp objects. For the price, they are hard to beat. If you need puncture protection, then you really have to step up to a more expensive glove, but for my purposes this glove does everything I need, does not take too much away from the tactile experience and my hands come out without accidental cuts and scrapes as well as heat protection when applying friction polish.

I didn't have my hand in the gloves when I was testing it, but yeah, cutting brisket or pork butt.. NO worry of a sliced pinky. Work in a slaughter house, can't say. But I'd take these into a knife fight any day of the week... if I was ever in a knife fight. I'd definitely wear them under a pair of Service-able gloves.

Used in machine shop daily for cleaning up metal scraps. Definitely protects hands. Lacerations have been reduced

I love knowing I won't get any cuts when working in the metals shop. These fit well too, I got size 9 and I think I have a regular man-sized hand.

Description

Superior Emerald CX Kevlar/Stainless Steel knit glove with micropore nitrile palm. Composite yarns are cutting edge when it comes to hand protection and our emerald CX gloves are no exception. Knit with an engineered blend of Kevlar and stainless steel, they are rated ASTM level 4, while providing outstanding comfort and Dexterity. Available in micropore nitrile palm coating, giving you increased grip in oily or wet conditions and an increased level of puncture resistance, while our micropore palms utilizes the latest technology for a no slip wet/dry/oily grip by infusing the nitrile surface with millions of tiny pores. These pores displace oils and liquids when pressed against smooth surfaces by creating suction, yet won't allow oil to saturate so hands stay dry. Compared with heavyweight leather gloves that cut at less than 150 grams of force, Emerald CX gloves provide over ten times the amount of cut protection with 2119 grams of cut force making it a level 4 in cut protection, which is the equivalent of ten heavyweight leather gloves. Emerald CX is where value meets performance: you'd expect to pay a lot more for a glove offering this much. 13 gauge thickness.
