I almost sent these back because I ordered Atlas Fit, the picture showed Atlas Fit but what I got was a "showa" brand that looked almost the same thing as Atlas except for the strange brand marking. Then I saw and read the manufacturer's claim these are exactly the same from the same manufacturer but rebranded. So I did a bunch more looking through the Amazon offerings for "Atlas Fit" and most listings included the SHOWA name. I concluded these are very probably what the manufacturer claims. I have used one pair and they look, feel, fit, and smell just like the original so I am going to give them a chance and see if they really are the same. So far I like them.
I am a Framer/Carpenter in the northwest US (Washington and Oregon coast). Lots of wet weather work as well as demolition. No other glove I have tried lasts as long for the amount of service as these do. These gloves have saved my hands more times than I really want to admit. Leather gloves, though nice, do not offer the surety of grip as these do. I always have at least three pair with me on a jobsite, and rotate through the pairs if needed, usually when they become to dirty or to wet to take off and on easily. One of the best values of these gloves is that you can wash them in a standard washing machine multiple times. So if they become dirty, stinky, or whatever, you can toss them into the washing machine, let them air dry, and it's like a new glove all over again. Eventually the rubber on the finger tips will wear through and I have to toss them. Sometimes I can get several weeks to a month of hard use out of them before they lose their protective value and grip. Which means that their dollar-per-wear value is excellent. Better than any other glove I have tried on the market.
After reviewing what other said about these gloves being knock offs or not the real deal I was hesitant about ordering them but my husband who is a construction worker said the price made the risk worth it. Normally we pay $5.00 a pair in the stores and he goes through these gloves. But after purchasing them he likes them. He uses them everyday with work, firewood splitting and handling and other daily life tasks. They hold up well and fit just like the store bought ones. We will be ordering these again.
I've been using these gloves for over 15 years straight, every day for work.
I work in construction and these gloves are the best .
All the other generic versions that try to make a type of glove similar to Atlas fit are garbage.
Atlas fit have the most dexterity , and ergonomically fitted ever made in a glove.
I give 100% recommendations in these gloves.
I've tried many imitations and no other glove compares.
These are the only gloves I will ever use for any projects, work sites, even chores around the house.
You won't be disappointed.
Have used many different kinds of gloves over the years, been through dozens of pairs, maybe over a hundred. I cut 10 cords of firewood annually and the gloves I buy need to hold up to the abuse of handling firewood. Everything up to this point has been a failure - the double-palm pigskin leather, the cheap brown cloth gloves, the ridiculously expensive anti-vibe mechanic's gloves, and everything else for that matter. For a while I was buying anything that said "masonry work" on them since I know how demanding that is on gloves. Best I could get was a single season before they developed holes, broke seams, or were so compromised by wear, moisture, fuel/oil and other contaminants that they just fell apart. The Showa Atlas 300 gloves were recommended online by some professional landscapers and arborists and other guys who cut a lot of firewood like I do. I bought one pair thinking that I would try them out and see how they held up. It's been a year and I still use the same pair of gloves, there is no visible wear on the latex/rubber dipped part of the glove, the only problem is that the rubber is starting to come away from the cloth glove in a couple of places. I decided they were so good that I bought a full dozen - at less than $3 a pair, what's the risk? I'm on my second pair now, but still use the old ones for really dirty & nasty stuff. It'll be 20 years before I use up all of these. I am recommending them to anyone looking for gloves, and I am buying them for my grounds crew at work (I run a 40-person maintenance department). They are very comfortable, fit my hands well, work fine in winter and summer as the backs of your hands can breathe (there is an insulated winter version but I have not tried them) and best of all they are the most durable gloves I have ever used. I can even handle wet or oily things that would wreck a leather glove, and with these it's not even noticeable.

I have worked at one of the big two package delivery companies close to 15 years, started in 2004. I choose to unload trucks, because I have complete control of when my day ends. I handle 3500-4500 packages every morning. I bought hese SHOWA Atlas 300B Work gloves at the end of March 2018, and I must say, these are the best latex palm coated work gloves I have ever purchased!! Without question!!
Most of the latex palm coated work gloves I buy last at the most 2 weeks. By the end of the week two, the rubber on the palm has worn or torn off, and I have to toss them.
These SHOWA Atlas 300B gloves, I am working on my FOURTH week. After each week, I wash them and I will keep wearing them until the rubber wears off. Starting week four and only one finger has a slight tear in the latex. Not only does the latex last, but the cloth material fits snug around my hand and never slips. It is almost like the gloves are part of my hand.
I expect I can get at least another two weeks. At that rate, one dozen will last one year!! Amazing!
If you are looking for a good quality latex palm coated glove, I recommend the SHOWA Atlas 300B. They come in blue too, but I prefer the black. I am extremely satisfied with my purchased!
I've tried many gloves and theses are the best that I could find out there that out last the rest of the gloves I've tired out there. The grip it pretty darn good and you can even throw them in a wash and let them air dry. They don't fall apart. One pair of theses gloves can last me a month maybe even longer. I order the small size gloves and I have small hands but I'm women so I dont have large or small men hands..lol I think their made particular for man. Anyways their not a perfect fit on my hands their a little lose. But the grip is Good and they have out lasted all the other gloves I've tried out there. I work with UPS and I deal with many boxes daily and I have to be fast and it helps to have a great grip on the gloves to sort large or small boxes. Thank you for making a Great product that is good quality thats made to last for a decent period for your money. I gave it a 4 star. It would be a 5 star if only the glove would fit my small hands better it would increase my production of work immensely. Over all its still a great buy!
Atlas brand gloves are the best anti-slip gloves I've ever used. My employer used to supply these for us, but started going cheaper, so I ordered them myself. That should tell you something right there. Don't mess around with cheap copies...go for the best of the best. They can be washed and AIR dried many times. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRIER!!!!!!!! I can get as much as 6 weeks out of a pair working in a warehouse. They stand up to light abrasions and protect from splinters and pallet nails fairly well. No, they are not puncture proof! But I'd rather snag the gloves than my hands any day.
Some of the best gloves I have ever owned. They fit my XL hands and I don't have to fight to get one on my right hand which is larger. Excellent protection and they feel good. The rubber is flexible, so it is easy to pick up smaller objects but not real small objects such as small nails. But all gloves are that way unless they are made of very thin material. The rubber is thick enough to keep the blister off while shoveling. Also dampens the vibration when using chain saw. When handling brush or briars they don’t puncture easily. I would say as protective as most leather gloves.
We buy this same glove for the hired men from a local store that cost a lot more. These Gloves last just as long and save us quite a bit of money. we work with a lot of water with ranch-farm work. We buy leather to work with wire projects. But this protects our men's hands in most projects. They like this glove just as much as the one we pay twice as much for.. so don't be afraid to buy these gloves in bulk. They are great! We buy them in a med. as that seems to fit most of our men's hands. I love having them delivered as we have to drive 120 miles to buy anything. This is a great convenience for us.
