After having my septic tank pumped, the line was still clogged. Since I had to pay $250 for the pumping, decided buying the plumbing auger was a good alternative to paying that much more for a plumber. I was right. I'm an 88 year old woman, but was able to clear the line in no time. The work gloves they include with this auger are wonderful also, and can be used for many other projects.
Our shower was backed up really badly. We would get ankle deep in water pretty fast (it was pretty gross) and it drained extremely slowly. I tried drain cleaner for standing water and it didn't help at all. I didn't have the $$ to call a service, so I decided to take a chance and buy this. What an experience! It pulled up the grossest clog I have ever seen in my life. I put it in the drain about three times until the snake came up completely empty.
When I tested the water, it began draining! It's been two weeks so far and everything is good. Very happy with this purchase!
This product must be used with VERY HOT WATER , at least a Gallon......After leaving overnight , use ur plunger, then flush. I also used a Snake before doing anything. The product is very good and did work for me.

This plumbing snake did the job for us - and it is really nice that it comes with a bag and gloves. I felt the price was excellent and the snake is good quality.
The plastic collar that holds the screw to lock the snake in place broke the first use.

They are sending me out a replacement that has a metal collar instead of plastic.
-- Final edit. THe replacement was also plastic, but they quickly send out a metal replacement part.
I had some problems with the product, but these guys were great. They went out of their way to fix it.

Worked fine, nice thing about this is that you can find 25 footers, but I need a longer one, and it fit the bill, I was able to unclog the drain and it works perfectly now.
I received it a couple of days ago. I haven't used it yet, but it looks to be made pretty well. I am not sure about the handle yet though. It looks to be a little small considering the weight of the auger, but until I have used it for a while, I am not sure how sturdy the handle is or how well it will hold up. Since you also get a nylon carrying case and a nice pair of gloves also, it seems to be well worth the purchase price.
Had a leak.. this worked like a charm. Easy to use, cleared the leak without the need to call a plumber!

I would recommend it. I only wish I would have got a longer one. Like 50 feet or maybe 100 feet long.
Just got it yesterday and put it to work in my bathtub drain. I got out so much hair and even roots! This product was so easy to use.
