I bought these for my hubby, as he's a FedEx delivery driver. Handling cardboard boxes all day long sucks the oil right out of his hands; they dry up and crack to the point of bleeding during the winter. They also keep his hands from getting terribly dirty...I never knew how dirty cardboard boxes were until he started coming home with hands dirtier than a kindergartner making mud pies! These were a lifesaver for him this winter. He likes that they keep him clean, somewhat warmer than the frigid air, and most importantly that they don't interfere with using his tiny scanner buttons. Each pair lasts about 2-3 weeks; the reason he swaps to a new pair is only because they get stretched out. He just added that tidbit of info while I was writing this, so I can't comment on how they stand up to the wash. When it's time to replace the ones I bought, I'm coming right back to Amazon to re-order.
It is hard to find garden gloves that are not feminine. These have a good look and can stand up to tough hand weeding chores and handling firewood. Had a problem with original order. Customer service quickly resolved the issue with replacement product.
Fantastic product. One pair will last me months digging around in the garden.

I really love these gloves. On the construction site it is a requirement to wear gloves, but the office provides gloves that are sort of thick. Those extra millimeters of thickness make it harder to hold my hammer comfortably, so I wear these gloves. My only complaint is that the right hand index finger seems to wear out in a couple of weeks, arguably I am right-handed so it is expected that this and the thumb would wear out first, I just wish I could get another week or two before I get a hole in it.
