Ironclad WFG-02-S WorkForce Gloves,

Ironclad WFG-02-S WorkForce Gloves, Small

Ironclad WFG-02-S WorkForce Gloves, Small

I've used and enjoyed at least 4 other Ironclad models for years. Each of those fits great and the brand's build is appreciably better than the $9.99 generic versions you can find at big box stores and online. So far, the WorkForce is no exception. Having recently got them, I'll reserve judgment on durability, but to my eye, they look like they'll do fine. These are mid-duty gloves, so if you have a seriously abrasive use i(e.g., frequent demolition work or prolonged contact with stone or masonry) in mind, I suggest you consider the heavy duty Ironclad models as alternatives. They will outlast the medium duty ones like these (but with a little loss of dexterity and flexibility).

These are light as a feather, compactable, fast drying, very dexterous and breath well for warm weather use. I was particularly looking for a model that doesn't have a wrist closure, so these filled the bill. They use a classic open (cowboy-style, non-velcro) wrist, which makes for easy on/off and doesn't get in way of a wristwatch. Ironclad gloves consistently fit my fingers and hand much truer than most others I've tried. Other brands often have thumbs or little fingers cut too long relative to the other fingers--at least for me. Each of my fingers goes all the way to the tip of the glove, without dexterity-robbing extra fabric at the ends--like competitors' ones. I would only improve two things about these: add a loop or hole by which to clip or hang them; and use a darker color for the back of hand material, to mask dirt/soiling. On the plus side, that lighter color will keep hand cooler in hot sunshine. The synthetic leather used in the palm and fingers is supple, thin, dries quickly and lasts pretty well; its faux-suede outer texture gives a grip that's acceptable, but not amazing. Worth the tradeoff over other materials.

Working in the environmental testing arena, we use these gloves almost every day for a wide variety of tasks.

They are good protection without being too hot in the summer, a very important consideration in the south. many of the mechanic style gloves are way too hot in the sun.
These gloves slip on and off easily enough and are durable.
They seem to be good up to about 250 F for handling hot things, much above that and I need heat gloves.
I tend to destroy them using ropes to haul stuff up and down towers on ropes but that is just normal wear and tear. We have been using these as our standard gloves for about four years now and expect to use them for many years to come.

I've purchased many pairs of these gloves for both myself and my husband. They are lightweight and allow you to easily pick up small item, like dropped screws and bolts. I use them for projects around the outside of my house as well as at work where I rack and stack servers. They are a great all purpose glove with good grip which easily can be put on or taken off when needed. I like them also because they have a nice snug fit which you do not get with cheaper gloves.

The downside is the fingertips do not not last. The tips are reinforced but the sides between the fingers are plain cloth. They fail where the light cloth meets the synthetic reinforcement. Do not use them for heavy duty gardening like working with concrete block. So yes I will purchase them again. I just wish they lasted longer.

I'm a truck driver. The material holds up very well. Plus the gloves are easy to clean. Dry quickly. The gloves breath. You don't get sweaty hands wearing in the humidity of the summer. I also like the cuff versus the lighter dty glove. Easy to take on and pull off

The design, materials & fit of the glove is perfect for my needs. I'm on my third pair--love the glove!

Durable and priced right, fit was good. I was looking for gloves that did not have the Velcro strap that you have to fasten and release every time you take the gloves on and off.

I do lots of work in the yard & around the house and these gloves are fantastic. Sturdy yet flexible & tough. They're the best.

Great wear-ability!!....especially fingertips! Also,,Dries quickly.

This is my second pair ii have owned. The first pair lasted 4 years. If you want a good work glove get yourself a pair of these.

I've had a pair of these for 3 years now, and I actually wear them. I'm notorious for pulling off work gloves or gardening gloves because they get in the way/aren't comfortable for me--but these gloves I actually leave on. And that is important, as I have multiple heavily-thorned rose bushes. I've not tried concrete block work as mentioned above. But for normal heavy gardening, they are excellent--my hands are no longer all scratched and bashed up. I would definitely buy them again!
