I work on a trucking terminal freight dock - mostly driving a forklift but also picking things up by hand. Now that it's getting cold outside, i've been searching for a glove that is tough, keeps dexterity, and is warm. These gloves do all 3 things and they do them very well. The rubber grippy material is the perfect thickness and keeps the glove flexible and makes things like pinching a piece of paper, writing something down, or typing on a RF scanner very easy. These gloves are also very warm. They are not waterproof, i see some reviews putting them down for that, but they also don't claim that they are. I also see a few reviews about sizing problems, I wear a large glove normally and the large of these gloves fits me perfect. I love that these gloves extend the wrist fabric a little further than most, which helps keep my skin covered between my jacket and the gloves. I will definitely be buying a few more pairs of these - especially for the low price that they sell for! Bottom line, for me, these gloves are amazing!
When I got these gloves in the mail , I said to myself " AWW DAMN , WHAT DID I DO?" because they were very similar to a pair of gloves that I already had which did not keep my hands warm. I live in NY , and work outside cutting trees all day long.and yes , these gloves do keep your hands warm and are good when handling a chainsaw. Its been a rough winter and has been very cold out here as of late and There were times when I was using the other gloves , I had to keep changing them to pairs of gloves that were in the truck getting warm next to the heater, not the case with these gloves . I can wear these all day long and my hands stay warm .
First let me say I'm a roofer by trade. I've been on a quest to find a glove that will provide several things with a low price. I've tried cow hide, cotton, latex, cloth gloves and currently have to pairs I'm testing.
Now what I'm looking for in a glove is simple.
1. price. I want a cheaper glove, and if the glove is cheap enough it can justify poor durability.
2. protection. I need a glove that will resist nails to a certain degree, and stop minor cuts.
3. water resistance. Now this is fairly important. if gloves get wet then they stay wet throughout the day. which is not acceptable to me.
4. weather protection. This is the least important for me personally. I want a glove that will keep my hands warm. all day long.
5. durability. I want my gloves to last a minimum of 2 weeks. this is most important.
Now these gloves accomplish several things. First they do stop nails, minor cuts etc. very well. Just as good as cow hide does. So I am pleased with this.
Second they keep my hands warmer than any glove I've tried except for hunting gloves. I love this about this gloves.
third they slow down how soon water seeps in. they take about an hour longer before my hands get wet. Which I'm ok with.
Fourth is durability. Now these gloves only lasted a week. Cow hide last 2 weeks at $2.50 a pair. Cotton, cloth, latex all last about 2 days. This is actually where I'm most disappointed. I expectes them to last a week and a half easy to justify the cost. Unfortunately this is what deters me from these gloves.
For the price I expected slightly better durability. However roofing is rough on gloves. So the fact they wore down didn't surprise me. If you used these gloves for literally anything else, aside from block work or brick work, they should perform exceptionally well for nearly all applications.
I loved everything about these gloves except durability and that's just because of my occupation. I would highly recommend these gloves for most jobs.
We purchased several pair of these gloves for gifts this year. I also kept one pair for my own use. They appear to be of decent quality. The grippy brown palm and fingers provide a sure grip. I ran a chainsaw for a couple of hours wearing these gloves and they were fine. I'm sure there will be a little break-in period and they will be even more comfortable. As others have mentioned, they are not the warmest in sub-freezing temps.
These gloves are excellent! I spent a while on Amazon searching and researching rubber coated gloves to use at the recycling facility I manage. The pickers complained about the leather ULine work gloves we regularly purchased for them. After much research I ordered 3 different brands of rubber coated gloves within the same price range. These lasted the longest, were the most comfortable and liked by the guys. Roofers, UPS package handlers and anyone who finds themselves going through gloves frequently, give these a shot!

Description
PIP WA1403A - 41-1400 PIP Men's Large Glove Power Grab in orange features a thermal knit liner with a brushed interior. The liner provides protection from the cold while micro-finish latex protects hands.
Well made glove. Of the cold gloves I've tested, this is the most flexible. It has the stickiest coating, but friction between fingers could be a problem. Nice anatomic curve. Insulation thickness and finger width is average.
Here are gloves I compared it to:
-Memphis CN9690 Ninja Ice Nylon - thickest insulation; long tight fingers; less flexible
-Atlas Therma-Fit 451 - thinnest insulation; loosest fit; sticky coating
-Wells Lamont 555 - tightest fingers; least flexible; least-sticky coating (but least friction between fingers)
They're fairly tough, warm, and comfortable. But, there are a few issues. They're not big enough to take away a star, though. First of all, the gloves do not match the thumbnail. They have a different logo on them. Mine say "Brahma Quality" rather than PowerGrab. Second, it might look like there's a black liner or something at the bottom of the glove (in the thumbnail) past the brownish rim, but no. Finally, there's some specs of orange on the latex and rim (this is the least important thing).
Fantastic work gloves for winter. Grip is excellent on all surfaces, even when wet. Well stitched. You don't feel the sticking. Snug fit.Knitting definitely is strong enough to protect your hands from scratches and cuts and general abuse. Knitting doesn't seem to get caught on anything and unfurl. Great product. Great price.
Purchased these gloves to add to a gift bag for my husband for Christmas. They seem to be a good replacement for his old latex gloves. They are true to size and seem to be made well compared to other knit latex gloves I have previously come across in hardware stores.
Warm gloves until they get wet. then like any other cloth glove your hands will get cold. However this glove does keep that chill out for a decently long period of time while wet.
