Memphis Glove N9690FCL Ninja Ice FC Nylon Back Double Layer Gloves with Full Dipped HPT Coating, Black, Large, 1-Pair

I bought these because i work for a company that does grocery resets and with that comes freezer work. The coldest our coolers get is -20F. I hate the cold and get cold easily.

I’ve found that adding a simple heavy duty latex disposable globe works wonders. On the bottom shelf where it coldest and the air is blasting my hands still get s bit cold. However as move up the case they stay warm due to the fleece lining. The nitrile coating front and back keeps the water off and out.

I’ve read reviews where people say they are to bulky. I handle boxes just fine and can write fairly decent. Can I put back shelf tags? Not so much. Can you go out and play Jenga with them? Probably not. Think about what your buying. Fleece lined water proof work gloves...no pair is going to fit like spandex.

4th time buying this brand. Great gloves for working in cold temperatures but they need to be dried or washed often. The sweat from your hands will build up inside the liner. That sweat will cause a stink after a few days. If they aren't stored in a warm/dry place, they will still be wet and cold which defeats the purpose of the inside liner. The liner also flakes off onto your finger tips after a few weeks of usage. It also twists and warps causing wrinkles that are a pain to try and straighten out and it's impossible to avoid them once you wash them since the liner warps inside the glove when you wash it and you have to turn it inside out to get your fingers back in the proper holes. The finger tips eventually get holes in them.

Other than that, they offer great dexterity for their thickness and solid protection from cold and icy temperatures. As long as your hands aren't cold when you put them on and the gloves aren't freezing themselves, they work great. They keep liquid out as long as it didn't get inside the wrist.

These gloves saved me from having to stop working every 20 minutes just to warm my hands up.

I love these gloves. I buy a new pair every winter. One of the things you have to do to keep hands warm is keep them dry. These gloves keep your hands dry while working and provide excellent dexterity at the same time. They are very durable. I wear them every day a fromNov thru April in the Northeast while doing farm work all day. Hard to imagine a better product for the performance or the price. Hope they never stop making them.

I just got these, so four stars to start. I'd like to help with sizing. Their spec chart is way off. I don't know how they got those measurements, but I'll give you what I've found. I got large, which has a B spec of 5.629. The actual "glove" B spec is 4.0. My hand B measurement is 3.5, which is a very good snug fit given the 4.0 is the "glove" two dimensions and doesn't account for thickness. My wrap around hand spec is 8.75. I bought these knowing the chart was messed up and took a chance. They fit very good for me. If your hands are close to my measurements, then a large will do you fine. The A spec (10) is very accurate.

Occasionally i have to work with frozen foods and the cold is too much. These do an excellent job against the cold. Worked for 4-5 hours using these and stayed warm. The first problem depends on what you need. You are taking these off to go into your pockets. Period. The second is sizing. I bought XL to start which worked great but were a little big. So I ordered a second pair this time Large. Worked great but a little snug.

This review is from: MCR Safety N9690FCM Ninja Ice FC Nylon Back Double Layer Gloves with Full Dipped HPT Coating, Black, Medium (Tools & Home Improvement) I love this glove for warmth, fit, dexterity! It has been the warmest work glove with those attributes I have used yet.

*** The most important aspect of warm gloves and boots is blood circulation and air gaps. Thermals, down, even home insulation all use air gaps. If you wear something too tight it will decrease the air gap and blood flow. If you order a pair of these and say your hands get cold then you really should return them for the next size up BEFORE saying these are not warm enough. Sure, you could use a thick mitten or thick ski glove for more warmth but they will not hold up as well or give you any dexterity a work environment would require.

The sizing of these gloves fit the same as Atlas Fit gloves, which are perfect for me. Other brands have poor fitting, mostly in finger length which sacrifices dexterity.

For comparison, I also purchased the PALM-DIPPED (open-back) Memphis Ninja Ice glove, just before these fully-dipped. They fit my hands and finger lengths perfectly. Because only the back of the fingertips are coated, just like most work gloves, water can get in. After a few hours of work my hands got wet yet still stayed warm in 5 degree weather. The liner worked like wool when wet, which was awesome!! No other work glove has offered the fit and dexterity these offered, all with warmth.

So, I purchased these FULLY-DIPPED gloves right afterward because if I could keep all water out they would be even warmer. The problem is they fit too tight because of the extra coating, so you should size up when ordering. When putting them on you have to rub the fingers to get the internal liner to lay comfortably but that is not a big deal and it's the same with other fully-dipped gloves I've tried. The web between the thumb and fore-finger is soo tight from the extra coating it is hard to fully spread open your thumb and working with it may tear the web coating a bit and lose some waterproofing. The finger lengths are fine just too tight overall, because of the full dip coating does not stretch enough like the palm-dipped apparently do.

In conclusion, they are great gloves but size up on full-dipped because they are a bit tighter fitting and inhibit blood circulation and warmth and inhibit freedom of motion a bit which may make you sore. Just remember that when sizing up the glove will have slightly longer fingers, but that may just be what these gloves require and is close enough for most tasks and still at least as good as most other brands' finger lengths.

I think they could take a palm-dipped glove and put a thinner coating on the back side for waterproofing that would allow more stretch and the back doesn't get as much wear anyway.

I use other dipped gloves for everything around the house; the finger and palm dipped only. I tried these fully dipped gloves for thermal protection (ninja Ice), but they just don't fit right. The inside liner seems too tight between my thumb and index finger which make the glove uncomfortable to wear. If I can stand that, they will make awesome gloves to wear working in moist environments. Otherwise I'm going back to the finger and palm dipped only gloves.

Bought these for my husband's new job which has a lot of time in the freezer box. He can't feel any cold when he has these on, and give him great grip.

I first purchased a pair of the finger and palm only dipped version of these gloves. They were so warm and toasty I decided to get a pair of the fully-dipped gloves.

The only difference is these tend to run really small. The first pair I bought were size medium and fit perfectly. Others complained about the small sizing so I ordered these in large. Almost too small. I could've easily taken an XL.

On the positive side, these, too are very warm. I've used them with wet tools and in the cold for 3 hours or so without my hands feeling even slightly cold.

They seem to be well constructed. Haven't had them long enough to judge durability. The material does seem a little thin so...we'll see.

Minus a star for the very small sizing. Other than that, highly recommended.

I use these for bike riding, paddling, snow shoveling, duck hunting and just about anything else where my hands need to be warm and dry. I usually wear a medium in leather work gloves but these fit a bit snugger, so the large works well for me.
