I bought these for bike riding (Road bikes, like 10-speed) because I have sleeve tattoos that I don't want to wipe off when I fall. I wore them (to the skickers and snorts of my kids and my senile pops) but when Ms.T (the dog) suddenly made a change in course and her leash got caught on the handlebars, I tested them thoroughly. I slid with most of my weight on one forearm for at least 5 feet and I cant even tell which sleeve it was that slid on the asphalt. Its not frayed or torn at all. Neither is my arm. I would buy these again if I had two more arms, or if I thought these weren't going to last forever.
My husband bruises and gets cuts and scratches very easy, on his arms. These have been great for him, when he is doing work that bangs his arms about--he loves them. They arrived on time, in great condition--and they wash very well!
I purchased these sleeves to protect my arms from cuts from trees and shrubs during lawn work. If you have any reason to protect against small cuts or abrasions, these sleeves work extremely well for that purpose. My red bud trees made me look for something that offered protection. Anyone working with shrubs or flowers with thorns and worry about small nicks, these work.
Seem to work well at warding off injury. The only negative I have found with them is that the "Large" size is a bit too tight on my arms. I would suggest adding an XLarge size to the product line, along with a sizing chart for potential customers to use before ordering.
When I first tried them on I thought they were too tight (and I have very small arms) but the more I use them the more I like them. I almost hate to take them off. Give very good protection while pruning, trimming, etc.

I bought these to do demo work in Houston after Harvey. They were perfect. I was saved many a time from arm gouges from nails and debris because of these things. They aren’t itchy or uncomfortable. I wasn’t sure I’d like how they hook over your thumb but after using them there, I was so glad they did. Just that much more protection. I wore work gloves over them and they fit fine. They also don’t slouch down your arm but stay put. I’m 6’2 and they covered past my elbows. SO glad I purchased these.
Nice and thick for working on rose bushes! I volunteer to maintain 100+ rose bushes on 50 acres and these come in handy for protecting my arms while eliminating old/dead growth branches in bush roses!!
I ordered these to protect my arms while hand-weeding and pruning. The protectors do a great job and are generally comfortable to wear although they can be hot in very warm, sunny weather. I read the comments of other reviewers before I ordered, so I ordered the large size. They are snug on me and I weigh about 100 pounds. I'm not sure they would be comfortable or safe for someone much, much larger.
I’ve never felt safer from accidental injury to my lower arms than I have since these arm sleeves arrived. Several times before, I’ve tried other sets of arm sleeves by different makers but quickly quit them when they failed to provide the protection I needed.
Just recently, I decided I needed to take over the yardwork here, and all I could think about were the many injuries I was sure to end up with and how horrible my arms were going to look — but then I found these arm sleeves here on Amazon by a lucky accident! These have such a thick weave (without, for me, any sense of feeling overheated or sweaty from them) that my work in the yard has gone without any arm damage whatsoever.
The only problem I’ve had with them personally is that the very solidly-edged thumb hole (a sign of a top-notch product and, likely, a plus for most people) feels too constrictive for the build of my hands. Again, this is something which would vary from person-to-person; I just happen to be the wrong person in this case — but that’s okay! All I’ve had to do is simply not use the thumb holes. I wear gloves over the arm sleeves anyway, so I’m still fully protected with the sleeves starting up my arm from the wrist instead!
How I wish I’d found this product many years ago because I’d love to have had the incredible amount of comfortable arm protection these provide! I’m out there working now without the constant fear and worry I always had in the past while outside, and that’s such an incredibly freeing experience!
I LOVE these YELLOW cut-resistant Kevlar sleeves for the protection they give my arms when carving with power tools or knives and gouges. They are in addition to the Kevlar gloves I wear. I am a short fella but I purchased the FULL SIZE set. They fit me perfectly, yet they have a good bit of stretch left over to accommodate thicker forearms and taller guys. And they BREATHE well.
