I am a professional gardener and I will not use pvc gloves because of how thin they are and how little protection they provide. However, most pvc gardening gloves have very nice flexibility to them which I like. These gloves have the best of both worlds. They are strong and will last me a whole season provided I try my best to keep them dry or if I dry them immediately after getting them wet. And while these gloves are strong they also offer incredible flexibility which is needed in the type of gardening I do. They also velcro closed which is nice; I do not get as much dirt in my gloves and fingernails. I buy a new pair each season and I intend to continue using these gloves. I would definitely recommend.
I purchased a pair of these gloves several years ago. I have used them until the fingertips have holes in them. I did not know if I would be able to find anymore but when I looked on Amazon I was able to purchase a new pair. I love these gloves because they are soft and flexible but protect your hands when you are doing work outside. I always use these when I help my husband with the firewood or whenever I am doing any kind of yard work.
At first I was unsure if I would like these for yard work, handling wood, etc because they do not go much past wrist but they are very comfortable to wear and the velcro prevents them from shifting during work. The leather really handles any task and I even wore them when power washing-the water didn't hurt the leather at all. Probably will buy another pair to have on hand.
