Bosch 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder

Bosch 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder 1375A

Bosch 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder 1375A

Fantastic Grinder, unfortunately I purchased this without realizing there is a newer 7.9 amp model for only $5 more on amazon

Works very well, I used it immediately to cut up a bed frame and build a metal frame standing desk. The only part of this grinder I don't like is the guard, I wish it were easyer to change the position of it. You have to use an allen wrench to change it, and it has ribbed plastic that makes it even harder to move. Other than that this grinder is great.

I bought this to replace a cheap grinder from HF. The Bosch has minimal vibration and more than adequate power for grinding and cutting sheet metal and bar stock. Blade changes are easy and the barrel is comfortable to hold.

Switch is a bit annoying as it does not stay on every time it's pushed- maybe this operator needs more practice?

This is the second one i have bought, not because it failed but because it works so well for home i took one to work for the shop table, lets see how low it lasts..

All you would ever want in angle grinder! Unless you were a contractor who used this tool for heavy grinding on a daily basis, this is the perfect tool for a "do it yourself" person. I was not aware of the fact that all the attachments for a standard 4 1/2" grinder are pretty compatible so you can shop around for stuff from Dewalt, Makita or any other brand and it will work.

This works well for me. Used with Diamond blade to cut porcelain tile. Used with grinding wheel to sharpen lawn mower blades. Happy purchase

For the money, it’s a nice grinder and Bosch is a reputable manufacturer of many things..I like the option to lock the on switch in place so that you can focus on the job at hand while the grinder runs.

20 Years of pro use and abuse and these are the best. I own a fab shop and this is the only grinder that I'll use. They lock on too!

If you are a do-it-yourselfer, an angle grinder is a must-have tool and this one is so far of great quality and very reasonably priced. It fits very well in my hand and is quieter than some of the other ones I've used (but I still recommend protecting your hearing). It's one of those tools that you have no idea how useful it is until you use one for a job. You'll find yourself looking at a problem and then think, "hmmm...i wonder if my angle grinder would work on this", and sure enough it is the right tool for the job. There are a lot of useful attachments that you can get for an angle grinder because it doesn't only 'grind', and don't think that your electric drill with the same attachments can handle the job because it can't. You can use it to cut or grind metal, pipe, concrete, bricks, block, score up painted surfaces, remove rust, cut off/grind down nail heads, cutting/removing through old tile mastic on a floor, etc. For me two really useful attachments has been the inexpensive concrete diamond blade, and the DeWalt 3" knotted wire cup brush. The brush is really heavy duty and I have used it many times. I don't know why I never bought an angle grinder sooner. Before I owned a grinder, I needed to cut a trench in my home's concrete slab, so I rented this huge, wet, gas-powered diamond saw. Not only was the rental expensive, but it took a long time, made a huge mess, I still needed to break it out with a sledgehammer and it really didn't do that great a job. So when I had to start my next slab-cutting project, I used this little angle grinder with the diamond blade to score deep cuts in the slab and between that, and my percussion hammer, it was really a breeze, comparatively and took much less time. I would recommend wearing a dust mask for some jobs and always using a good set of hearing muffs to protect one's ears as well (don't just use cheap earplugs).
