I wouldn't normally take the time to write a review for gloves, but every time I use these gloves I think, "I need to write a review for these!" So, here we go. I use disposable gloves frequently for yard work and for working on cars. Other gloves I've used in the past have torn after moderate use. These gloves are just the right thickness and durability to be perfect for the type of work I do. With the old, blue gloves I used to use, I could occasionally reuse them. With these SAS Safety 6-mil gloves I've been able to reuse them several times, and they hold up without tearing. I will definitely buy these again, though I expect it may be a couple of years before I run though this box of 100.
Very pleased with these gloves. According to the size guide on the box, I "should" have ordered size Small instead of Medium, and upon initially putting them on my hands do swim a little in them, however, once my hands warm up, which they tend to do when wearing gloves such as these, the fit becomes snug enough to stay securely on my hands. No problem with picking up very small items--removed staples, bits of lint, bugs and tying knots on wastebasket plastic liners--anyone who does this knows how frustrating that can be with gloves that are not snug. The textured grip is excellent, my hands no longer slip off wet paper towels or cloths. Have not had to change them during a 3 hour cleaning shift, which was not the case with other commercial brand gloves.
There is a Size Guide on the box. Measuring hand across, 8 CM or 3 1/8" for Small; 9 CM or 3 1/2" for Medium; 10 CM or 4" for Large; 11 CM or 4 1/4" for Extra Large; 12 CM or 4 3/4" for XXL .
Will definitely be purchasing more of these.
These are the best disposable gloves I've come across. In fact the disposable part may be a long time coming.
Ordered the large size and got a snug but comfortable fit- yet they are easy to slip on and off.
So durable, the 100 count should last the pro or average mechanic/DIYer a very long time.
One drawback, depending on the activity while using these gloves, I found your hands sweat rather profusely...and this is coming from someone who rarely sweats at all...hands or otherwise. As such, it isn't uncommon to suddenly notice drops of sweat dripping down your wrist or on the floor while working with these gloves on.
Again, it depends on the use. Changing the brakes, replacing an engine mount=lots of sweat. Painting, light gardening = no sweat. The trade-off for disposables is the lack of breath-ability of the material.
I spent many many many weekends working on cars with my Dad as a kid in the 70's. We always used disposable latex gloves for most of the dirty, greasy projects. The problem with those, they didn't fit me, my hand would sweat and they were not very durable, but they got the job done. Fast forward 40 years.. and now I find myself looking for something that would work but better, and these gloves do the trick. Why 4 stars? I used the sizing chart that indicated "small" and I really need "Medium". No worries, these will work and the next order will be medium. I also noticed that I got just about an hour of use of the first pair I tried (used to pack the small mini pin point grease gun see other reviews) and I had hoped they would last longer. I know I know... that is why they are called disposable ;)
These have got to be the best gloves I've ever tried on for mechanical purposes. I have tried many but these make u feel as though u are working bare handed. Sometimes I spray on a little wd40 then I hold the bolts and I would go like... darn I forgot to put my gloves! But then I realize I actually do have them on! That's how great these gloves are. This is the closest u will get to working with your bare hands but with a high level of protection. They feel so nice and u can handle even small nuts and bolts. And trust me, these gloves don't tear easily. They withstand steel brushes, flat screw drivers, blunt knives etc. If u like to protect your hands from oil, dirt, bacteria, abrasions or whatever, then these are the gloves for you. Go ahead and buy them with confidence. Five stars.
Note: the orange Amex gloves tear very easily compared to these ones. Just saying in case u are trying to decide between Ravens and Amex..

Im old school and still enjoy latex gloves, but these nitril gloves are very comfortable as well. They don't feel like you are puting Saran Wrap around your hands and they DO repel liquids and chemicals wonderfully. They are not that easy to rip open unless you catch the glove on something. Even then, the rip is usually small enough to continue using it for a bit longer.
The gloves wipe clean fairly easy. I will definitely buy again.
GREAT gloves. I use these for work and pleasure (don't get any rude ideas!). I am in the IT business and often I am required to work on very dusty, dirty equipment. Whether it's swapping a dust-covered router in a freight yard outbuilding or working on someone's PC when they haven't blown the dust and hair out of it for the last decade, these gloves are fantastic. They are powder-free, and they don't need any powder. They go on easily enough, they are ambidextrous, and they come off easily.
At home I use these for working on PCs occasionally, but I also enjoy building model kits (I told you it was innocent). These are great for slipping on when you're spray painting or airbrushing. No smelly lacquer thinner all over your hands because they got covered in rattle can primer, and no alcohol hand rinses because you airbrushed acrylics all over them. Put the gloves on, paint, take them off. It's that simple.
I will buy these gloves over and over until they stop making them, they are that useful for me.
Great gloves; durable; thick enough for tough jobs, without much, if any loss of sensitivity/'feel'. Ordered XL (I have a max hand diameter of 8 3/4 in.) to be on the safe side, as most other gloves seem to run small. They might be a tad too large, but are easy to put on/take off, so I hung onto them. They're working out well. Why four stars? Maybe I missed it, but I wonder why there's no size chart that includes actual hand measurements. This seems to be a problem with most items--whether on Amazon or anywhere else. Seems like a no-brainer, but...
Bought one Box of Large and have been using them with first aid kits and supplies. Just bought two more boxes of one large and one medium. I like these gloves because they are 6 mil thickness and will hold up well and not separate or split. They are black, but I plan to use cheaper light blue nitrile gloves on top of the black ones. That way, if I see blood on them they can be stripped off and new pair put on top of the black ones before going to new victim or patient. I highly recommend these gloves as a secondary set with a cheaper set as primary and a lighter color. Thanks SAS Safety for an excellent glove.
I bought these for use when working with super-hot peppers. I have cut up hundreds of scorpion, ghost, and Carolina Reaper peppers with these gloves on and have yet to have had anything get through to my skin. These gloves are a MUST for working with 2+ million Scoville unit peppers, so they get a high recommendation from me!
