I hadn't worn work gloves much before I got these. Now I usually wear them.
The black knit fabric seems to attract mosquitos, but mosquito repellent stays in the fabric nicely.
I like to smear a couple of drops of 5W oil on the blades of grass shears, hedge shears, loppers, pruners, a pole saw, and a pruning saw. It prevents rust and keeps plant sap from sticking. I began wearing these gloves to avoid getting nicked by a sharp saw blade. I discovered a bigger advantage. Oil is hard to wipe off skin, but it's easy to wipe off polyurethane gloves.
In the kitchen, I prefer a pair of these to dishwashing gloves for kneading, removing pressure-cooked chicken from bones, and cutting up raw meat. It doesn't matter that the backs are porous because I'm not trying to protect my skin. They last longer than rubber gloves. They're easier to put on and remove. To clean them, I wash my gloved hands, remove the gloves, wring, rinse, wring, and hang.
They're great for picking fruit in case I grab a stinging insect. They're great for peeling apples.
I normally used to buy a pair of these every month from my local gas station, at $5 a pair. So, the fact that you get so many pair of them at such a low price was why I bought them through Amazon. Now, I will admit these pairs I've received seem to last a lot less, and seep dust through my fingers a lot faster. Even though I do the same type of job I've always done, (processing lots of boxes at a warehouse), these seem to last 2 weeks before they get worn out. The gloves may have been seating out at the amazon warehouse for a while, before i bought them, so maybe that why they don't last as long.
Almost as good as Atlas 370 part number NT370BBK, with the letter L at the end for Large. A little thinner. 1/3 the cost. Compared to Atlas 370 BBK L, which is also Large, and was not available at Amazon when this reviews was written. I like the Atlas 370 gloves a little better, however those ones are usually priced 3 times higher. So these ones are quite good for the low price. As others have stated, Flexibility and Protection. Many of the other brands sold in stores have very little flexibility, making it difficult to do mechanical work with. These ones are very much flexible and are great to work with. They are good for outdoor work, and provide some warmth from the cold. I use these for sheet metal and mechanical work. Although they are not sheet metal rated, they still do provide quite a bit of protection against nicks and cuts and are highly recommended. Here is the link for the Atlas Gloves, provided for comparison purposes. Make sure you read the size before purchasing. 12 Pack - Showa Atlas 370 Black Work Gloves - Large
These are just all around great multi purpose work gloves. The coating on the palms helps with gripping items and also serves to provide a bit more protection. The gloves have enough give to get them on easily, but the fit snuggly enough to not interfere with whatever task you are doing.
This was our second time ordering these gloves. Our son used a few pairs from the last order and he was also pleased with their performance.
I have used and loved Pug 17s in the past. I havent been able to find them locally, at least at retailers i frequent. I was pleased to find my recent purchase contained a big bundle of great gloves. Great fit. I expect comparable wear to past Pugs. If you need some hand protection and maintain great grip and dexterity, you will love these gloves.

These gloves suit me fine as i work outside in the landscape. They are close to my skin, so i can feel the plants im working with easily, and my hands stay clean. They last me about 2 weeks of full-time use before i need another pair. They are the best summer work gloves ive found.
Very lightweight, which is something I look for in a glove of this type as my hands get too warm otherwise. The fit is ok, better than some other gloves I have tried. I have freakily long skinny skelator fingers, so it is hard to find a perfectly fitting glove, these come pretty close. I have worn the first pair for a full week at work and they are only just starting to wear out two tiny little holes at the tips of the middle fingers. That is in line with how long a pair of similar gloves of other brands will last me, so I am ok with that. I will probably get close to another week out of the pair before the holes are too big and I throw them out for a new pair. So far, these are the lightest and airiest (Is that a word?) gloves I have tried and I am very pleased with them.
My husband does concrete, he goes through tons gloves throughout the year. These are great for the price. He is rough on them so once they get a hole in them, he has to throw them away, which is expected. However, buying them in bulk for a little over $1 a pair is well worth it!
We are plumbers and I buy these gloves for my guys and myself. These are the best fitting gloves, and they allow you good feeling to use tools and grip small items. Additionally, they last quite and long time and are very reasonably priced. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
these gloves are the best for work. I stack cardboard box,s all day and they never get tears or holes.I,ve tried all kind and these work better and last longer than any I,ve have used!
