CLC Custom Leathercraft 123X Workright Open Cuff Flex Grip Work Gloves, Extra Large

First, these are lighter weight than I expected, which turns out to be one of the best features about them if you work outdoors in the summer. They are very breathable and not at all uncomfortable to wear, but have ample padding everywhere that its needed. They also fit well, there are no issues with the open cuff, I honestly prefer it to a hook&loop closure that makes that hideous noise until it wears out. These have already saved me countless splinters and probably a few bandages, this afternoon I wore them while finishing up a few dovetail joints... with a pocket knife. I've worn them for a dozen projects or so, plus whenever I want to protect my hands while doing chores. These are also my go-to solution when need a little extra grip for stubborn thumbscrews, tight lids, etc. without even putting them on the synthetic leather palm works much better than a rag. The reinforced finger tips are awesome, I feel more confident using and handling any sharp tools, yet I can still pick up a pencil and jot notes and measurements like the gloves aren't even there.

The CLC Open Cuff Workright gloves deserve five stars all day long, I'm getting another pair just in case I lose or shred the pair I have. Breathable, great dexterity, good protection, durable, and low cost! absolutely A+

Excellent low-cost bicycle riding gloves. I previously had the CLC subcontractor gloves with the back-of-the-thumb snot wipe (a great feature for cold days or teary eyes) that I nearly wore a hole through after a decade of moderate use.

I got these to replace the subcontractors because of the lack of velcro, which had a tendency to catch and fray the sleeves of my shirts if the velcro wasn't fastened.

My only complaint is that these gloves seem to be fitted pretty well around the wrist, but then flare outwards above the wrist. They upper part tends to fold down below the wrist with the tag sticking out when wearing these gloves with a jacket.

If these velcro-free gloves were made with a subcontractor glove-style microfiber snot wipe with a little less flare at the wrist, I'd be happy as a clam.

Ok gloves, not as good a fit as others that are similar, and I don't really like the finger stitching, but the price was good.
UPDATE:
I need to update my review. The gloves "broke in" after wearing them in daily use for quite some time, in fact, I'm STILL wearing them in daily use at work after several months. I am revising my opinion of these gloves UPWARD because they are standing the test of time. They FAR outlast other similar offerings (I've been through multiple pairs of other brands in the same time frame) and they do not burn up from handling hot materials like some of the synthetic offerings that I've used (lost a pair of "M" gloves in one day's use). Still wish they didn't have the weird stitched on finger tips, but they are holding up very well to hard daily work with steel, wood, machinery, etc.

These gloves where a bit to tight for me but i wore them anyway and loved them. I work in a saw mill so changing saws blades, and knifes are super hard on any gloves and I usually have to where really thick gloves and its to hard to work in them but these are great and even 10x better when i went to a large. These (but in a large) will be my primary gloves from know on. I am going to check out more products by Custom Leathercraft.

I like these a lot. I work with natural gas, so I need gloves without velcro in order to eliminate the potential for static electricity discharges. These work like a charm. I love the extra padding on the knuckles and the palms are sturdy in all the right spots without compromising mobility. My only issue is that not long after I purchased them some of the stitching connecting the backs to the palm starting coming apart. It didn't come apart completely and I could probably sew them back together myself, but I just haven't bothered yet. They're good gloves and they wash up well. Better than most of the other name brand gloves out there as far as I'm concerned.

I have put this glove through 7 months of usage and so far only finger stitching have failed. I like the easy on andd off fit without the velcro adjustment strap. I work on a flight ramp, around airplanes. Mostly loading luggages, mechanic work, and fueling aircrafts. I needed a set of gloves that can protect my hands and have a decent life span. Mechanix gloves won't last once it contact jet fuel or oil. So far CLC have lasted 7 months and my only problem is that the right hand ring finer stitching have fail. Leaving the finger expose. Will be looking at another stronger and long lasting glove, same brand.

Excellent gloves. I am about 6 weeks into my work season (lawncare specialist) and they are still in great shape. The brand of gloves I previously used would only last about 4 weeks before I ripped or tore holes in them.

I'm a truck driver and go thru gloves like nobody's business. They're either too thick or don't stay put and slip around a lot. These are perfect for me..just the right amount of stretch to them but they dont slip and slide on my hands. And they are the perfect thickness, just enough to keep the chill off but not so much that I can't get a good grip.

My husband is a contractor in the Midwest so he experiences snow, rain and cold weather. He purchases so many brown cotton cheap work gloves but they are not waterproof for some of his tasks. I not only purchased one pair but 6 pairs and he said they are the best gloves he has owned for work projects.

I have the 2XL (XXL) size, and several flavors of these gloves. They are the only ones I buy now. Hook/loop wrist closure, breathable but protective. I wear them for yard work, hiking in brush, whatever.
