I'm just starting to look to replace these gloves after three years. Just last fall I had to put a piece of tape across the palm where the extra piece was wearing off. I do a lot of brush clearing and tree trimming and I think they're perfect for it. I've gotten them wet and they dry soft unlike another pair I have. It's hard to find good work gloves for small hands and these are great; often if I find a nice pair the fingers are actually too long which isn't something you want when working with a chain saw. I've looked at gloves at the farm store and I've seen some nice ones with fabric, leather palms and the ever popular touchscreen tips. I don't want anything fancy--just functional, durable, and comfortable and these fit the bill. I think I will be repurchasing these exact gloves.
I (Ray's wife) have worked these gloves to death already, but they did not die. I was on a mission trip to South Carolina after the floods to help clean up. I put good heavy plastic gloves under these and never looked back. Nasty nasty environment. Mold. Debris. Wet carpeting. Even under houses pulling wet insulation. I came away tired, bruised and stronger but no cuts or blisters to my hands. Washed them out when I got home and wore them Thanksgiving eve to help my son butcher his first deer. Washed them out, again and cleared the yard, built a fire, cut back some plants. They are on the counter awaiting our next adventure. Will go looking for these when I need a replacement. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Fit well, good construction, nice heavy leather.
I wear a size 7 1/2 women's glove, which usually works out to a Medium in gloves sized for women. I have plump hands and my fingers aren't particularly long. These gloves fit close to my hands, with just the amount of looseness in palm and fingers I expect from a pair of work gloves, which should have a little extra room to help protect the hands from injury. I believe the people having trouble with the fit or size may not have noticed that these are women's gloves, or may not know their own glove size.
The only negative point for me is that the gloves have a rather strong smell, which clings to my hands after wear. However I expect that will dissipate with time and use.
Overall, good purchase, and I'll likely buy them again when this pair wears out in a year or two.
I been looking for ever but i finally found em...Where have these been all my life! I needed these years ago! After using my weed eater and raking i ended up with calluses on my hands! So the hunt was on for a pair of leather work gloves, but i have small women hands! I used the gloves for gardening and yard work! I love these leather gloves which are incredibly hard to find in my size for my little hands which are between a 6-1/2 - 7! They fit me perfect! I've only had them for a few weeks so i can't say how they will hold up but they are comfy! I have very sensitive skin too and i get no discomfort or rashes from them! So if you need a pair, look no further! Thank you so much ☺
Love these gloves! Soft and flexible but very rugged, and great for working with roses or other thorny shrubs. So glad I could find them on Amazon since my favorite nurseries didn't have any this spring. I purchased the Women's Small; I wear a size 7 dress glove and these fit very well, not too tight, but not loose. I recommend.

These gloves were awesome for the cost! Real leather, softens up after a while to become very comfortable (they start off very stiff ) as you wear. I've been doing a lot of clearing wood, burning it, and building little bushcraft projects in my back yard and these are very durable. The only downside is a slight funny smell at first but it washes off your hands and eventually that smell wears away out of your gloves - same thing also with a tint of yellow dye. I bought slightly more expensive ones and I'd say save your money and get these, because they're pretty much the same as you'd get at Home Depot
They're a tiny bit bulkier than the ones they replaced, but those (which were expensive well-known name brand) wore out too quickly. Otherwise they're a "5" - good construction; comfortable, smooth inside finish; decent fit. Fit is very important to me, since I'm a woman with small hands and small, medium heavy gloves are difficult to find. My gloves do not get mistreated, but I do use them, e.g., for lifting uncomfortable objects like rough, heavy stone for garden projects, etc. If they last and don't stretch with wear, I would probably bump up the rating.
I've had these for one year, and they have been through a lot! I do have to buy a new pair because a hole showed up on one of the fingers a few days ago, but I'm still very satisfied with them. They have lasted much longer than other gloves I have tried, and they are easy to work in. I have small hands, and these fit perfectly. I wear these gloves almost daily for gardening/farming purposes.
These aren't the best work gloves I've ever had, but I can't complain about them. I prefer my gloves to be a bit more cinched at the wrist, but that's just preference. I have a really hard time finding work gloves to fit my small hands, and these fit well. For the price, they're a really good buy.
I am ordering at least my 5th pair over many years. These are the best women's gloves for real work. You can wear them all day, every day, for comfort. Yet they are tough and stand up to real work punishment. I regularly break or wear out gardening tools, and wear out fingertips of gloves so often that I tape up the finger tips with gorilla duct tape to get through the day. Don't waste your money on "soft." Get your gloves on and get to work.
