I really liked the Endura Oilbloc version without the Kevlar liner and so I bought these as my replacement pair after I wore out the fingertips of that prior pair. I use the gloves for splitting and handling hardwoods for our wood stove and for messing around with oils and grease for the chainsaw, chipper, and tractor. The gel pads and knuckle guards are effective as the logs, hydraulics, and axes best on my hands.
Note that the gloves are identical to the nonlined version except, of course, the liner. What this means though, which I didn't anticipate, is that the gloves fit more snuggly and are quite a bit hotter.
To extend the season of use for the Endura gloves and any work gloves, slip a hand warmer packet into gloves and then your hand, letting the packet rest on the back not the palm of your hand. The blood in your fingers flows along the skin of the back of your hand and not through the palms. Extend the life of the disposable hand warmers by putting them in a sandwich ziplock bag with all the air squeezed out. A single pair of warmers will stay useful for a week or more that way if you only need them any day for a 15 minute outdoor chore.
Worth the high price.

THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR EXTREMELY COLD WEATHER.
ONLY LINING IS KEVLAR.
However That said,
I wore them today shoveling snow in sub zero wind chill temps with no problems at all and was quite warm.
Those with bad circulation in their hands may want more substantial insulation.
More than enough for me to work in winter with. But that's me..
I work outside all day long and with these gloves I keep super warm and still able to be mobile with my hands. They are easy to put on and take off for easy access to anything you need such as your phone or to hop in a truck n drive, and can even drive with they on. They are by far the toughest and best pair of winter work gloves i have ever bought in my lifetime of working sanitation and construction. I definitely plan on buying more whenever these ware out if they ever do. And now all my co - workers are planning to buy these gloves.
Strong soft comfortable. Not warm as one review posted they are unlined. The abrasion protection on the back over the knuckles is good except if you need to reach into close spaces
