I purchased my first pair of Y-Town Gloves at a local hardware store for $30 plus tax. HEAVY duty/waterproof. Used them to stack a cord of firewood. Not a scratch on them. Went to Amazon and bought a second pair for a friend for Xmas. They were not the "touch gloves" that I wanted. On the weekend, I called the wholesaler I purchased them from and got voicemail. So I then called Y-Town Glove corporate in Ca. and spoke to a "real" person who not only sent out a return ship voucher but also sent the ones that I wanted w/ free ship. That kind of customer service earns a lifetime of brand loyalty. Bravo! With gloves on...cause it's still v. cold here in N.E. Ohio.
I have had these gloves for over a year and they are great. I use and abuse them pretty well. I am a weekend warrior and always wear these gloves when working in the yard or on the mower, etc.
They are well made. Cannot compare to the cheap knockoffs they sell at the big box hardware stores.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tough work glove. The small size fits me perfect. I am a smaller gent though and it is hard for me to find the S size in stores.

This is the second pair I have purchased. Used to buy similar gloves at HD, but the fingers always wear out in just a few weeks. These have kevlar, and boy are they durable. I expected them to be stiff and uncomfortable in order to be durable, but they are in fact quite comfortable. Better than any work gloves I have purchased before, from anyone.
Great gloves however, the small size is about $14. more than the medium. Lower material cost and higher price. Too greedy for me to buy any more. Too bad the gloves are wonderful.
