Carhartt Men's C-Grip Pro-Palm High Dexterity Vibration Reducing Glove, Army, XX-Large

These gloves are like a second skin and can handle rough work conditions better than most. I am giving them 5 stars because there is no glove available today that will be extremely durable while being tactile and comfortable when fine motor skills are required. Gloves wear out because they are taking the abuse your hands would normally absorb.

I usually go with the CLC brand, also sold on Amazon, and find the selection of handyman and heavy work gloves good enough for all my work situations. I bought the Carhartt gloves based on the attractive price and how the rubberized palms wrapped around the fingers. With these gloves I did some significant demolition work, insulation, electrical (needed to take them off a few times but I was surprised by how much wiring I could do with them), framing, and installed hardwood flooring (T&G strip, nail down). My hands would have been a hot mess without gloves and while CLC gloves would have worked great, I would definitely have had to take them off at intervals where I needed to be able to feel what I was working on.

On top of the ability to work with the gloves on, I was surprised to find that my hands did not overheat after wearing them for hours on end, which surprised me because the rubber is obviously not breathable. All in, I probably put the gloves through 100 hours of wear and while they are beat up, still usable.

The only thing that could make these gloves better is the ability to use a cell phone while wearing them, but the rubber fingers don't work on touchscreens.

I went back and forth through many gloves to see which reviews were best. I've worn Carhartt since I was little and I figured I couldn't go wrong with these.

These were purchased as a gift for someone who works in an Auto Shop picking parts from shelves and constantly working with their hands. They needed something with grip so when they had to grab something from high above these gloves would hold tight to the part. They also were needed for warmth and easy flexibility because some car parts are very small.

I wanted to mention first that I bought these gloves for a 5'2 100LB woman and her hands are not big. These were perfect for her. I'm not sure why Carhartt decides to make every Woman glove pink or girly colors, but not every girl likes those colors.... :)

After almost a year of using these I can say they are still well intact and being used everyday. The grip has not worn off and these gloves offer a lot of flexibility and warmth in the cold Michigan days. I would purchase these same exact gloves if the old ones decide to give out.

I got these gloves to protect against sharp objects, and things that really dig into your hands when you put significant force on them.
Like small tough synthetic string and metal fish tapes.

They work well, and are super super grippy for any other objects you pick up or want to carry.
They fit a little small. But not enough to be unwearable for a short amount of time.

Iv'e been using these gloves for work for the past week. So far so good. They have great grip on the palm, as you would expect. They are also comfortable to wear for long periods of time and are a snug enough fit to give you decent amount of feel.

The only real down side so far is the thin material on top side of the gloves. It wont take much to rip the material and it doesn't provide a great deal of protection. Mine are still holding up ok, but I can see them tearing within the next couple of weeks.

If you are looking for light use gloves that will protect your palms and give you good grip, give these a try. If you are looking for tough gloves that will last a long time, maybe look at a more substantial pair.

These gloves are fantastic. The fit is great and so is the grip. You won’t be dropping any cardboard boxes or anything else when these are on your hands. Overall, great gloves, but after your hands sweat in them, they immediately smell like catfish bait. Pretty rough. And with that kind of stink, it’s the last place you want to stick your hand into which renders them useless at that point.

I previously had a pair of these gloves I had bought to unload trucks at my job. Cardboard is no joke. If you need gloves that have grip like nothing you have ever used these are them! I particularly like the fact that they protect your fingertips. Great price for what they offer. I used these for over 3 years and after being incredibly rough on them the cloth began to separate but even then they were usable. I am just picky and wanted new ones! :)

Let me start by saying that I purchased the first pair in the store. After 15
days use the rubber began to peel from the cloth and the cloth got a rip. Went back to the store and the clerk gave me $10 off the asking price. So I purchased the second pair. This pair also lasted about 15 days. BUT let me tell you that my husband works on a farm, the gloves were strong enough for him to hold an electrical fence (although I don't recommend this) His hands have not received any cuts or scratches since he began using them. The palms show no signs of damage and do afford quite a bit of protection. The price through the Amazon web site was great! Even if he goes through a pair a month.

I absolutely love these gloves! there are the only ones I use for my job.. it's just a shame that they wear out so quickly. I can get about a month out of them before they start to blister and break in the corners. I use them to operate equiptment and the grippy gloves allow me to ease my hands a bit. I have still yet to find anything that has the amount of grip that these gloves have.

Thick, tacky rubber grip is great. Keeps my fingers and palms well protected during contractor work.

P.S. - Cannot text on iPhone with gloves on if you were wondering

Ordered XXL though it feels almost like I am squeezing into a large.

That said - gloves have a tenacious rubber that allows a much better and easier gripo on boxes and the like. You do not have to grop items as hard because the rubber is holding the items. Makes carryingthings a whole lot easier.
