Youngstown Glove 12-3365-60-3XL FR Ground Glove Lined w/ Kevlar Performance Work Gloves, 3X-Large, Tan

These are the most expensive gloves I ever purchased, they also happen to be with out question, the best gloves I have ever shaken hands with.
I know you are looking at the price and then you see the pair that cost 20 dollars less and you are thinking, am I ever really going to need all those silly abbreviations that are tatted all over the cuff.
I thought the same thing bought the cheaper ones and they dont compare to these.
Have you ever wrestled with blackberry bushes?
With these gloves you can literally grab the thorniest blackberry vine and RIP it out of the ground and you won't even feel a tickle.
Same goes for rose bushes, glass shards, metal shavings, cactuses or is it cacti, anyway you can grab all that and more and not even have to wince.
The only negative thing I can say about these is that they have made me want to try and hurt myself while wearing these.
I have grappled with every dangerously stabby item I can find just to see if these will still protect my hands.
They have yet to fail me.
I even grabbed the warm end of a blowtorch while it was lit and hands were fine.
I put a picture up of them, they are used (I am hard on my tools), and they are dirty but they are still in perfect condition.
Yes they are expensive.
Really expensive.
But, how much are your hands worth to you?
I can say if I ever loose these I will be back to buy another pair even if they triple the price.
(I am in no way affiliated with this company nor did I get any compensation for writing this review.) I paid 60ish dollars for these gloves when I bought them and still think it is one of my best purchases.

These are excellent gloves; they are comfortable and with the kevlar inside, I feel more safe from cuts and punctures. The outside is pig skin, which softens and fits my hands very-well after several hours of work. The additional kevlar padding is also comfortable to protect against vibration and abrasion during work.
My hands measure that the XL size should work, but I needed the XXL size.

Gloves appear good quality, but for this price I was hoping it would be made in USA. Come on Youngstown, you tout being the glove of the "American Lineman".

Like most of you looking for a glove out there that won't break down after a hard weekend's work I looked all over the internet. I finally ended up choosing these gloves and it was the best decision. These gloves are very tough but not stiff. Can you pick up a needle off the ground... no, can you pick up a 16 penny nail, yes. Does it tear at the seams, no. Wear on the fingers where you use them the most, yes, eventually, but they have doubled the layers on the fingers in those areas so they keep in working. No glove will last forever if you need to have dexterity and strength but I will never buy a different glove.

I do yard work, metal grinding, machining, woodworking, construction, digging, handyman, and plumbing with them and they last a long time before wearing out.

Highly recommend!

I work in landscaping, and I live in the high desert of New Mexico USA. We have some pretty sharp, poky ,and pointed plants in the southwest! I got to use these gloves today and I'm impressed! My hands stayed safe and never had to worry about getting poked. I highly recommend these gloves.

Description

A cut resistant, flame resistant, heat resistant, arc rated leather work glove that form fits to your hand and offers incredible durability and protection. We took our top selling ground glove design and lined every inch of the glove with DuPont Kevlar fiber to create total hand protection for the most rugged of jobs. The outermost layer is a heavy duty goat grain leather work glove. Unlike other leather gloves this one is sewn into an ergonomic, 3D glove pattern for superior comfort, dexterity and fit. We then sew a 2nd layer of leather in all the critical wear areas on the palm, fingers, thumb, saddle and knuckle. We line the entire interior of the glove with DuPont Kevlar fiber to add cut resistance, durability and flame resistance to the glove. We take the extra step of attaching the Kevlar to the leather before sewing it all together. With this method there is not a loose liner feel that can pull out of the glove or slip around. Instead the Kevlar is snug to the leather and won't slide or pull out. With all of this built into the glove there are some impressive lab tests that come along with it. First, it is rated to ANSI/ISEA cut level A4 and ANSI/ISEA puncture level 5. The glove is also flame resistant to ASTM D6413. The glove is Arc Rated to 37 cal/cm2, qualifying as PPE Level 3 for electrical workers performing non-voltage tasks. This glove does not protect against shock or voltage. Rubber gloves are required to protect against shock or voltage. You don't need to be a pro to appreciate this glove. If you are someone who likes a darn good glove and needs advanced protection, this is the glove for you. You can grab the thorniest, prickliest plants you can imagine and you won't feel a thing. Those prickly weeds aren't going through 2 layers of goat grain leather and a layer of Kevlar. Work with confidence and safety and use a pair of these incredible work gloves.

Very good gloves - will see how long they last to determine the real value proposition. Came with some loose threads right off the bat, so a little concerned.

Great pair of gloves. They are heavy duty made, with double stitching. The are lightweight but very durable. I am currently using them for mobile fueling of JP5/8 and the fuel does not soak through.
Well done Youngstown Gloves! Only wish they were made in the US though.

Gloves are of good quality but not worth 60$ when they are made in Indonesia!

I like these gloves because they fit well and are tough

Excellent Premium quality glove. Full protection against thorns.
