I love these gloves. They are thin and give you fine motor control. I can do almost any task in my workshop with these on. If you get the right size they will be 95% as good as just using your fingers. AND you'll get some protection from scrapes, splinters, and chemical spills.
When I first bought these, I was disappointed that they're so lightweight. But they've proved tough enough for handling plywood and other heavy duty tasks I've needed to do around the house. Previously, I used a lot of these: Atlas Showa Glove 300 Atlas Fit Super Grip Gloves-Medium (12 Pair Pack). But I don't think I will buy those again. I'm happier with the thinner ones.
My favorite work glove, without a doubt. Have used them for years. This latest batch seems a trifle different -- they don't say "Atlas" on them -- but in other respects they're virtually identical to the older ones. All gloves are a compromise between protection and capability. These are MY kind of compromise: you can pick up a thin slippery little washer but still protect your fingers from sharp edges and nasty substances. Your fingers can still flex normally. And they're comfortable! Quibbles: even with XL size, I wish the fingers were longer, but the stretch is good. Also, I could wish the cuff was an inch or so longer to cover my wrist. But the price is right, and the gloves are generally terrific. I hope they never stop making them, because I'll never stop using them. One other note: for other purposes or different style of glove, I've found the Atlas line generally to be first-rate for quality, utility and durability. I was watching a documentary about professional salvage divers, and there was the guy working on a sunken ship -- wearing Atlas gloves!
These are great as material handler gloves. Production, shipping and receiving, forklift operator etc. During certain times of the year, I work 12HR shifts doing this kind of work in wine country. I have tried similar gloves from hardware stores and the ones that various employers give to their workers. They all kind of suck to be honest. These can last 10-12 work days before the nitrile begins to come off or the gloves start to get holes in them. They are thin enough so you can feel what you are doing, and also work with phones. They offer enough protection to keep your hands from getting too beat up. Not for thorns, won't work if you deal with a lot of broken glass, but otherwise great. they will do zero for you in cold conditions so take note of that. They cost more than other gloves, but when you look at how long they last and price per pair when you buy a 4 or 6 pack, they make a lot of sense. These things just do not fall apart.
The gloves turned out to be thin and light-duty, though the picture looks "monster-gorilla". A pair can be rolled up and stuffed inside the tube of a toilet paper roll; space-saving for an earthquake kit, but not much protection for actually sorting through rubble. No protection on the back. Mostly provides a grip.
The packaging says they are for ... "Electronic and small parts assembly, light fabrication, packaging, inspection, general plant use, gardening". And I agree they would be excellent for those things.
Update: 2016-Sep-17
The picture has been updated to something realistic, thanks.

To me, these are almost the ultimate work glove. I've always tried to protect my hands - if one isn't distracted by dirt, grease, skin damage etc, it's easier to focus on the task - and over 3 decades I've used all types of gloves with varying degrees of satisfaction. I found the Atlas Nitrile a few years ago, and decided they were the ones for me. They do the basic job of protection while maintaining excellent 'feel' - with these gloves on I can still easily tie my bootlaces, do electrical work, pick up tiny items from a workbench, do carpentry work, metal work (not welding!), concrete work, mechanic work, and, importantly operate my touchscreen phone to take or make a call. They'll dry quickly while wearing them if I'm working with water lines etc, and give some warmth when it starts to get chilly. For real warmth in the cold I'll pull a pair of woollen gloves over them, or to add durability I'll pull on a pair of 2XL leather gloves (I buy the Atlas in XL). They don't protect when working with barbed wire, and welding spatter puts holes in them. They can get a bit hot when working in the summer sun, but any glove is. I keep a pair in every vehicle, and there is always a pair in my pocket when I go to work. To sum up - cheap, good all-round protection, surprisingly durable, excellent 'feel'. Value for money, for me they are the absolute best.
They sell these at every home improvement store. Try them on, to make sure you get the right size, they are unforgiving if they are not the right size. Then order a 12 pack on Amazon for way less. It is great to have a bunch of pairs, you will want to wear them whenever you are working on a project. Nothing worse than taking a break from some grueling work, then putting back on a pair of used, dirty, wet gloves. Have a lot of pairs, get a fresh pair after every break, and throw a load in the wash at the end of the day. You can do anything in these gloves, no need to remove them when working.
Atlas 370 garden gloves are the very best design and quality. I have been purchasing them for a plant organization for about 15 years now which we sell at our annual plant sale. There's not much to it as the gloves sell themselves. The Nitrile covers the ends of the fingers and a cotton mesh protects the back of the hand allowing the glove to breathe. They are washable but should not be put in the dryer. They provide good dexterity and enable one to pick up a dime. They wear well and are the VERY BEST gardening gloves.
These Atlas gloves are the best gloves I have ever found for multiple tasks, at home and at work. I am a building contractor and wear these gloves all day long. They are comfortable and fit snuggly so I can access nails and screws, almost as well as with bare hands. The rubber palm is a bit sticky and is very helpful in the wet and cold and the wrist cuffs are long and protective. They are also amazingly rugged. Technology has certainly played a part in making these gloves the next generation of comfortable hand protection.
These gloves are the truth. There are none like these out there, they are the best on the market, hands down. They fit like a second skin that gives you extra grip. They are basically giving you super powers. I originally bought them for burning man, to climb around and not expose my skin to the dust, but ended up using them for hiking in the woods, holding onto trees and rocks as well. I highly recommend!
