I got these for my husband who wears gloves for EVERYTHING. At his job and around the house. He won't even touch a piece of firewood without gloves and we live with woodheat in north Idaho, so that means touching ALOT of firewood. He's picky about his gloves and always uses somekind called Ox something or other. But they are over 70 bucks for a 12 pack which is very spendy. These have been a godsend at just over 22 dollars a 12 pack. So far he is very pleased with them and has no complaints which makes me happy. What a deal!!

I love these gloves for work. I work on a drilling rig working with oil base mud chemicals and extreme conditions. These have enough padding to keep your hands from hurting but not so much your hands are sweating all day . And they're cheap enough where they're pretty replaceable. Well they used to be but they have gone up in price by almost 9 dollars since january. :( I buy a pack at least once a month sometimes 2 a month

These gloves are useful for household chores and any dirty, messy work. They are good quality for the price. Every once in a while, one will disintegrate when I try to put it on—a manufacturer’s defect of some kind. This happens rarely, though—not even one per box. More like 1 every 6 - 10 boxes. If you’re using them for something like gardening, it’s a good idea to put gardening gloves on top of these. Gardening gloves will protect your hands from rough work, but these gloves will keep your hands clean. (These might tear a bit if you are doing rough work without the protection of gardening gloves.)

I’ve been using these for a while for dishwashing, cleaning, scooping litter boxes, and doing other dirty or messy work around the house. I’ve found this brand to be one of the most reliable for the price—provided the price stays down. I’m kind of amazed at how often the prices on these fluctuate. Lately this color has been the cheapest, but I have also used other colors from this brand, and they are all about the same.

Depends what you use them for. I work in hospitals and have used about 100 different types of gloves. However, I bought these for cleaning deer while hunting. For that purpose, they work great. But in a hospital/medical setting you could do much better. This is a basic glove. No more no less. They don’t tear or rip easily which is nice, but like I said, there are nicer gloves out there that treat dry skin and conform better to your hand.

These gloves are similar to other the other ones of this brand—not the lightest or the heaviest, which is good. The thinner ones tend to rip too easily and the thicker ones tend to either be too tight or just too stiff, so it’s hard to do anything with them on. These ones are just right. I started buying this color mostly because it was cheaper than the other colors. The prices on these things change all the time, and I don’t care what color they are, so I switch around from buying dark blue, light blue, black, whatever color happens to be cheapest at the moment.

I mostly use these for cleaning around the house and washing dishes, cleaning cat boxes, etc. They work great for those purposes.

I am allergic to latex and those gloves work so well for me. They are latex free.
I use them in my spa for permanent and semi-permanent makeup services. Those gloves stay on very well and do not tear.

I work with sharp objects and open cuts. It is essential to wear gloves to protect myself from contact with my client's bodily fluids(blood).

I use these gloves whenever I need to handle something that I don't want to have contact with my skin. This includes cleaning and arts & crafts projects but my main use for them is when handling/prepping food. The gloves keep my hands, fingers and nails (especially underneath) clean and free of any smell associated with prepping onions/garlic, marinading and mixing meat. I do a lot of computer work and wear nitrile gloves to prevent static charge to delicate computer components. I usually just buy whatever is on sale on Amazon. These are no better or no worse than the others I have used. They will tear very easily get snagged and if you’re not careful when putting on they will tear. This is typical of all nitrile gloves. Also after tearing you have to dry your hands very well in order to get a replacement pair placed on your hands.

I use these in my POV when my pager goes off for a medical aid, they are easy to don and don't rip very easy which is awesome. They are smooth and soft on the inside to help with donning, no fidgeting with the fingers trying to get them all the way down. Easy to write on as well with a pen or sharpie. Overall great gloves for medical use.

Edit, after using different brands of gloves the past year Ive come to prefer cranberry brand gloves for easy donning over these ammex. For heavy duty use I use microflex lifestar.

These are pretty good gloves. They fit well and are sturdy (I wear a medium in other non latex gloves, but wear a large in women's winter (or a medium in men's) gloves. I use them mostly to clean my kitchen and bathroom. They last for several times before splitting open, so they are a great value (I make sure they are clean and dry before I take them off). When needed, I'll purchase these again using Subscribe and Save (the best value).

Great nitrile gloves, I primarily use these for first aid / trauma treating, although I also change my car's oil using them too. Fit is pretty true and they are easy to put on and take off even with my bent fingers which have been broken in the past and have some arthritis deformities.

They work. They are protecting my hands from vibration.
Without these, any time I used certain power tools and equipment, my hands would have a tingly/ vibration feel when I was done.
These gloves don't remove all of the vibration you feel but it does prevent that feeling.
I rather replace these ever 6 months than have any long term hand problems.
They seem well made, and fit to my expected glove size (medium). I do have larger hands, but always seem to have the best fit with medium gloves.

I purchased these gloves for work and they work pretty well. Good quality and they are true to size. My only complaint is that after several hours of use they seem to feel wet and when they get to that state they give off an unpleasant odor. Strangely, when they're dry the smell goes away but as soon as they feel damp you can smell it again. I am not sure if it's a chemical that they may have used to treat it but the smell is definitely present when wet.

I have bi-lateral carpal tunnel syndrome (both wrists) and need to use gloves that provide a reasonably good level of protection from vibration. These gloves provided excellent protection for the jobs I was doing. I would recommend them to anyone who works with vibrating equipment from battery operated drills through lawnmowers. Maybe it will prevent you from developing what I have?

Gloves received quickly and in new condition as advertised. Good price, these gloves are used as range gloves when I'm pounding away with my semi auto shotty. The gel palms really help with the recoil and just feel good. Ironclad is one of my favorite brand of gloves and I own several different styles. The color is not the same as advertised, they are actually black/gray/yellow, not white. I knew this before I bought by comparing to the Ironclad website. I'm a big guy with big hands, size large fits a bit tight but I knew that already as well and prefer it for ease of loading shells while wearing gloves. Not too loose so the fingers don't get snagged on the shell lifter.

These gloves work well to reduce the effects of vibrating machines. They do not cause hand fatigue while operating the equipment. The gloves also provide good dexterity.

This is my second pair of Ironclad gloves. I was gifted a similar pair from a friend 5 years ago and they finally gave way a couple months ago. These are awesome, they allow for good grip and the padded protection on the palms is perfect for working in the yard or doing heavy lifting. I loved my last pair and so far I haven't noticed any drop off in quality with these gloves.

Very comfortable. They provide good protection from vibration while sanding wood (my primary use of them). One really nice feature is that I can leave the gloves on and still pick up things (like a sheet of sandpaper) without having to take the gloves off.

I wasn't a big fan of the velcro strap on them, so I cut it off. Even without the velco strap, the gloves stay on easily.

Not quite as thick or padded as I expected so I wear them under another pair of work gloves while mowing the yard. The occasional swelling I had after mowing hasn't occurred since I started wearing them.

Definitely a good investment if you're chipping concrete/pile using a Rivet Buster (aka Chipping Gun). Without using the gloves my fingers, hands, and wrist would swell up, and make it hard to open and close my hand in the morning.

The gloves are nice, quality. I got them for yard work after a long bout with the weed wacker left my fingers numb. They have cut the vibrations way down. My only issue is that the gel pads are only in the palms so vibration is still transferred through the fingers. I will happily use these but I am looking for another pair with more padding.

These gloves are amazing once I first got these i have tried several others and there is no comparison. They last longer, they are flexible . i work as a chip vendor it protects my hands from cardboard and physical damage while giving me the flexibility to still wear them while servicing stores. These flashlights are compact, they fit right in your hand, and they widen the beam by extending the front part. It has different modes, including a strobe for self defense. They are really bright and that beam widens out quite a bit, the specifics are on the site. I am very happy with these lights and I now have an extra for a stocking stuffer! The holsters for each flashlight is a nice touch and the only reason for my reluctant 4 star-rating (versus a 3.5 stars); with a 18650 battery inside the heft of the flashlight feels nice in grip and affirms it’s a quality build. The seller also includes a 30% coupon to be used in purchasing another of their products.

Following are my unfavorable remarks:
1. Scratches on each flashlight lens that cannot be removed (already reported back to the seller)
2. Generic LED bulb used in each GearLight unit. The GearLight LED did not illuminate as bright as another tactical flashlight I purchased, which used a CREE T6 Wick bulb. You'll see the huge difference in the image provided. The left illumination is from the other tactical flashlight casting a brighter white illumination onto my office wall (both flashlights had brand new 18650 batteries inside as the power source).

Overall, not a bad purchase for flashlights to have around the house, given what all the seller provides you. I really believe the light source in these units can be better.

bright, sturdy, and kool looking. Only complaints- did not come with rechargeable battery's, which for the record can be purchased and used separately. Second, its immense power results in battery not lasting as long as my old light., IE it gets "dull", or noticeably not as bright. Battery run time for me is average one week, still emits enough light to see for most part, but I like it bright.I also use it everyday for at minimum 5 hours a day, so not really bad. Just thought good to point out. I'm very happy with this light and can see its quality will allow me to have it for years. Next investment is rechargeable battery to cut back on throw away. Tactical and cost effective. Also another great point about this product is on is on- full power. If you turn it off it goes back to bright. Not cycle through all modes unless you have it on and quickly depress the button to change it. My old light id have to cycle it which was VERY annoying

I first ordered these lights a while ago and was immediately very impressed by their rugged design and EXTREME brightness unlike any other I had seen in their size. Just finished a 2 week backpacking trip in Thailand and Laos. The light was exceptional. During a three day jungle trek, the light was the go to for our group of eight. Everyone loved the wide angle view (especially during our card games) and we used distance view to see the animals is the trees at really long distances.

Second Review:
Just finished a holiday trip to Tulum Mexico with my oldest son. We used the light every night to navigate the narrow and busy street of Tulum. The light protected us from the potholes and let the cars know we were walking alongside the road. I need to steal my light back from my son after the trip was done.

GearLight, asked me to review this light and share my thoughts. Right out of the box, I was impressed. This light is solid in construction and seems well made. One feature of this light, which I really like, is the auto return to high beam after it is has been off for twenty seconds. No matter which mode you were in when you turn it off, it always comes on in high beam. Switching to the other modes is easy.

There is no reference as to the lumens out put, so I wrote customer service and they told me, that this light is rated at 1040 Lumens. In actual use, it is closer to 300 to 800 lumens, depending on the batteries you are using. I installed AAA Alkaline batteries. (3) required. They give more than enough power to light up your world. You can also use rechargeable NiMH (Nickel- Metal Hydride) batteries. If your looking for maximum power out put, you can also use a 18650 Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The light comes with a plastic tube for this purpose.

I played with the variable focus and it works great. Set at flood mode, I lit up the side of my barn at 70 yards. These high power flash lights are not toys. You can never look directly into the beam. At 300 lumens they are intense. At full power, they are blinding. You can damage your eyes. If you have small children, they must never be allowed the play with this flash light.

As with any high power LED light, they will get hot after long run time. This is normal and will not harm the light. GearLight offers a one year warranty for this light. It is iron clad. If anything goes wrong, they will take care of it. Considering the modest price, and 2 lights are included, and my first contact with customer service, convinced me, that this light deserves 5 stars.

I had purchased a KEKU XML-T6 flashlight a year or so ago and wanted to get two more. Sadly they are no longer available it would appear. Bought this one instead and in fact externally they appear to be identical to the KEKU other than the lettering on them. Very sturdy, and produce a great beam of light.

Unfortunately these are sadly lacking. No batteries at all come with the unit! Most significantly, no rechargable battery (although they do include the sleeve needed to use a rechargable) so of course no charger. They do come with the AA sleeve as did the KEKU.

Update... about two weeks after I wrote this review I got a package in the mail from Gearlight. They sent me two 18650 batteries and a charger after reading this review! In a nice letter they thanked me for the review! Hopefully they will either make it clear in their descriptions, NO BATTERIES, or start including them even if it means they have to charge a bit more. Its sort of like a kid at Christmas, opening a new toy only to find that you can't use it because of no batteries. As I said... great lights and now I can add FANTASTIC customer service!

Great little light! Small enough to fit in a pocket, but the output is almost as bright as a flashlight three times its size. It gets used every night to do a security check around the property. I like it because I can still carry things, without putting down the light like you need to do with a full sized flashlight. The switch function is well thought out, since a firm click turns it on and another firm click turns it off. No cycling through all five functions, just to turn it off. Dimming functions and others are accessed by a soft press of the switch, after the first firm click to turn the beam on. Variable beam is width is great, allowing you to quickly go from a wide beam to spot light. The holster is well made, but not something I use, since the light fits if a pocket so easily. Battery life is comparable with the other three AAA cell LED flashlights I have owned. I'll probably buy more of these, if they stand up to a couple months of use.

I just received my waxed canvas apron this week. I have already put it to the test on the grill and in the wood shop and this thing is great. The fabric quality seems excellent and all of the stitching and rivets are done with care. (And yes, it does repel water as shown in the images)

The cross-back straps remove all of the weight from your neck and disperse it nicely over your shoulders which will be great when I load the pockets with tools. Admittedly I was a little hesitant to purchase an apron with the cross-back straps at first, but the stiffness of the fabric makes getting into this apron very easy and the pros far outweigh the cons of an around the neck type apron.

I am 5’ 10” and the apron comes down just above my knees. You can also adjust the apron effectively to the height that you would prefer by pulling the straps down further through the waist rivets. I asked my 7-month pregnant wife try this on and it fit her well too. The straps have double stitching where it counts and the shoulder fabric is thicker which adds a layer of comfort.

The upper pocket easily fits my iPhone 6 and a pen/sharpie and the other pockets provide plenty of space for whatever else I might need. It is clear that a lot of thought went into the design of this apron. And besides all of that, this thing just looks good.

Great purchase for the money!

This apron is exactly what I needed to wear for woodworking. I was tired of ruining my clothes with stain and finish and always hunting around for the last place I laid down my pencil and other small tool I was working with at the time. Since receiving it I have now worn it a couple of times and have these initial observations:

- Very durable product, thick material, well waxed. Fit and finish is excellent. I doubt much will penetrate the wax treatment. No more splashed stain on the front of my shirt!

- Initially very stiff. Out of the box the apron is on the stiff side, not unexpected given its construction. I am thinking (hoping) this is going to need a "break in" period before it reaches full comfort level and bends and twists with my body. My initial reaction was that all it needed was a good washing but the instructions clearly state that it should not be machine washed. My hope is given enough use this will eventually soften up and feel like my favorite pair of jeans.

- Nice touch on straps. The straps are made of approximately 3/4" nylon web like typically found on a backpack or duffle bag for cinching things up. However the first 12" or so from the front grommet up (the portion that goes over your shoulder) on each strap is surrounded by a slightly wider and much softer material, see photo.

- Pockets are great. The biggest motivation for me for purchasing an apron was to have pockets for small tools. I often found myself searching around for something I had in my hand minutes before when working in the shop. Now where did I put that tape measure? Seems like I spent more time looking for my pencil than I did actually working on my projects. The front kangaroo pockets are nice to fit tape measures, small squares and other small tools. Top pocket is perfect for pencils, small rulers, etc. I guess you could put a cell phone in there as well but not something I would do while working in my shop, its better off up safely on a bench out of harms way.

If you are a woodworker I would highly recommend this apron, expect it to be with you for a very long time.

Awesome apron! I have had experience with aprons as a woodworker before this and most didn't stand up to the task, were too uncomfortable and simply held wood debris too much.
This apron is anything but that. Super comfortable the way it crosses on back. Easy to put on and clean. Debris simply doesnt stick to this waxed canvas apron. Price point is awesome...i dare you to find a better performing apron cheaper. Multiple functional pockets...i could go on and on.
I just put this apron through the ringer for a weekend class learning traditonal blacksmithing at a coal fired forge. It perfomed flawlessly in conditions using fire and steel exceeding 1700 degrees fh.

I have only used the apron a few times since I've only had it a few days. I use this as a garage wood worker. My first impression was this is a very nice apron. The quality is excellent. I was concerned that it might be too heavy and being sealed, might be way too hot to use for long duration in my hot garage in the South. No worries there. I wore it for over an hour without issue. The chest pocket is great for holding two 6 inch rulers, a small brass caliper and 3 pencils. It could hold more.

Today, I used it while I was making a stuffed pet pen for a grandson. This included measuring, cutting and moving boards around the shop. I also used a sign template set to route his name. This is where I encountered the only real problem with this apron. Routers throw out a lot of dust. It turns out the lower front pockets are good dust collectors. However, the rest of the apron was great at repelling the dust and keeping my clothes clean.

If I could request a few changes to make this perfect for woodworkers it would be;
1. Next to the chest pocket have two or three pencil holders.
2. It would be very nice to have an adjustable quick connect on the apron strings.
3. Add flaps for the lower front pockets to keep out dust. They don't need to be Velcro or snapped.

The hand pockets seemed to be ok. The net result is, I am glad I made this purchase. I would highly recommend this. If the company would produce another with the changes above, I would buy it again in a heart beat. By the way, I would give this 5 plus stars if it had changes 1 and 3. I added my own ring and carabiner as a quick connect.

First and foremost it is a great apron. It is a heavy duty canvas that is a bit stiff straight out of the package because of the waxed coating, I have no doubt that it will relax with wear and I couldn't be more pleased with quality of the stitching and materials used.

Most of the listings I found suggested ,"One size fits most", I'm not most. This apron is listed as XL but I've found sizes can be subjective when ties are involved. I should mention that I wear 4x and 5x clothes so I didn't expect this to wrap around my body, and I assumed that I would need to find a way to add to the ties to close the apron. I was wrong! Not only did the ties go around me but I was able to tie a decent sized bow. The coverage of the apron itself doesn't quit make it around to the back of me, but it covers most of me and should be very effective for my needs.

I'm really glad I took a chance on this apron, the adjustable ties are really comfortable and the multiple pockets are very handy.

I bought this to wear when doing indoor dirty jobs, like cleaning guns or oiling leather. I'd stacked up six dirty handguns that needed cleaning when this apron arrived, and it was comfortable for several hours of cleaning to wear, sit, stand and move around without sagging, twisting or getting caught up in the ties. The surface feels stiff but not oily to the touch like an oilskin. And it kept all the dirty oil, cleaner and general gunk off my clothes. Putting it on with the cross straps was awkward at first, but it works well at keeping the bib in place. Next task is to wear it while oiling my motorcycle leathers for the coming winter, same sort of job - you don't need coveralls or bibs, but don't want greasy crap all over your jeans and tee shirt. Several tough, generous easy-to-reach pockets. Easy to get off and back on for a break if needed. I don't anticipate needing to wash it frequently although it seems robust enough to withstand a lot of washing if you wanted to barbecue in it. I'll likely be wearing this in the garden next Spring especially for trimming and pruning.

Wow! This is a super apron!! I was getting desperate to replace my old denim apron that I have worn off and on for decades, mostly off....when the string got to irritating my neck. I came close to getting some old sail canvas from a friend of mine and making my own, well until I found the Hudson product. I bought the gray one and I am very pleased. The apron is very comfortable. I like the reinforced places and the many pockets so I don't have to go looking for my pen, ruler, knife, etc. It is long enough and wide enough to keep my clothing protected. I consider this to be not just an apron, but part of my essential tools. I have had if for just over a week and put it through the test ground. I do mostly wood work, but also some stained glass jobs, and a bit of metal work too. This apron has stood up to everything without any complaints or problems.

Follow up comments: I have worn this apron almost everyday now in my shop for five months. It is everything I expected and more. Even more comfortable now that it is broken in. Absolutely no problems and certainly it is the most comfortable apron I have ever worn. Certainly worthy of five stars.

I really wanted a nice, durable apron for when I smoke meat, and was looking at some of the leather options from Traeger and Hedley & Bennett, but I couldn't justify spending over $100 on something that may end up ruined from the fat or juices from meat, and really only had one or two pockets. I took my search to Amazon, and boy am I glad I did!

This apron is the real deal. It's a heavy canvas that has been waxed, which makes it a little stiff to begin with, but it softens up nicely. The model that I got has shoulder straps that cross over in the back and have a buckle clip in the back, and I love it. It distributes the weight very nicely, and you don't feel like you're wearing a millstone around your neck.

There are plenty of pockets for just about anything you could need. Because this is mainly a smoking/grilling apron for me, I keep my ThermoWorks ThermoPop thermometer in one of the pen holder pockets up top, alongside by phone, which fits perfectly in one of the top pockets. I haven't filled up the bottom joey pockets, yet, but I'm sure I'll find a reason to! I love that there are two hammer loops on the side, as they hold my tongs perfectly.

As far as fit goes, I'm just over 5'9" with a fairly thin build, and wear this fairly high. The top hits just below my collarbones and the bottom hits just above my knees. The sides wrap around to cover a little more than half my body, so plenty of coverage.

Bottom line - if you're looking for a durable, manly and downright useful apron, look no further. The price is very fair for what you get, and it really is a handsome looking apron.

I've worn this apron in my studio/workshop several times now, and I really like it. It's more expensive than some, but the materials and construction are first-rate. I rarely give five stars, but the workmanship on this apron is impressive. The fabric is substantial and, although a bit stiff at present, comfortable to wear. The strap and grommet system is pretty clever, allowing a good fit for most, I would think. I'm a 5'-7" not-skinny woman, and I'm able to cross the straps at the small of my back and then tie them in front, so I'm guessing there would be plenty of strap length for bigger men. The straps sit comfortably on my shoulders. And all the pockets are great!

I do metalwork, which includes flame, sparks and corrosive liquids. So far, I haven't done anything stupid (knock on wood), which would really put this apron to the test, but I feel reasonably confident that my clothes have adequate protection. The first thing I do now, when I enter my studio, is put on this apron.

All in all, it's money well spent.

If you’re working with rough materials like stone or concrete or bricks on a daily basis, I would say maybe a week or two. If you are doing roofing, probably the same. Mechanics maybe longer. It just all depends but these gloves are worth it.

I work on a farm and a woodshop and I have ridiculously thin fingers. These are amazing, I’ve already given the other two of three gloves as gift to my 4/2 ring size...protection from cold is just a bit, projection from pulling up fences, thorns...the dexterity I worth it!

Love these gloves. I prefer them over the gloves that my job provides. I'm still using pair #1 of the 3. They're very durable and efficient. With a form-fitting grip, I'm even able to text with them on. I have encouraged several coworkers to make the switch to these gloves as well.

These are great but run very small. My wife wears a large.

I work in the oil field on a Drilling Rig, and i mix a lot of sticky, slamming and nasty chemicals that are a pain in the neck to get off my hands but this gloves are the best, i share them with my friends at the Rig and they love them, we work around grease and mud, not mentioning on the winter time, all you gotta do is find an smaller cotton glove and wear it inside the rubber ones and working at -20°f feels just as good and not as expensive as the winter gloves.

Cost a little more but better than other brand sold at amazon...I am a fuel hauler using these for what is probably light to moderate use...I usually discard them by 2 weeks because my hands sweat and grime gathers inside...In that time no wear is usually evident.

For the cost I love them and they do exactly what I bought them for. Which is since my current job will not buy chemical resistant gloves for cleaning up fuel spills (they have us use food safe clear thin gloves that tear if you look at them the wrong way). I bought these because I am tired of my hands smelling like gasoline for the next 5 to 8 hours of work even after washing. I have told all my fellow works that do the same job as me about them in case they do not mind spending a few of their own bucks on something our job should be supplying.

Great Product and very well made. I am using these gloves for Salmon and Halibut fishing in Glacier Bay, Alaska. I am really happy with this product.
