Prevention protection is great!! Easy to use
It works perfectly for protecting my arms from my macaw's rather tight grip, just what I wanted. It is a little tight above my elbow but it's ok. It would also do good for cooking I suppose, or other things depending on what you are planning.
I wear it when I am working on my truck and no more cuts.

I bought these for hunting through the thick briar bushes of Pennsylvania. They don't breath too well but the prevented all the slashes.
