I hardly give a recommendation for products I buy from Amazon. Everything I have purchased from has hundreds good reviews. So, I figure there is no need to add my 2 cents. But this time for the Romer LED Flashlight I received a few days ago, I had to share with everyone how bright the flashlight is. I live in the country on a piece of property that is 200 feet x 400 feet. I can stand at one end of the property and I can see anything from one side to the other side. I like ti so much, I am buying another one to carry in my truck for those "just in case I have a flat." If you want a rechargeable, very lightweight, well-built, flashlight, this is the flashlight to buy.
I’m an avid mushroom hunter and having a good flashlight helps pick up shapes and colors that are typically hard to notice in a dark, rainy forest. I’ve tried more than 20 different brands and styles and have spent at least $500 on flashlights over the last 3 years. This flashlight is BY FAR the best one I’ve found.
It produces such an intense white light - it makes all others seem dingy, yellow, and unfocused by comparison. It’s so bright that the other night our power went out in a windstorm so we set this on a table pointed at the ceiling and it illuminated a large-ish bedroom as if the lights were still on.
It’s so amazing not needing to change batteries, too! The light easily lasts 7-8 continuous hours before needing a charge, which I can do while driving to the next hunting spot. I’ve never had to stop and find a store to buy batteries, which is a huge pain when you’re up on a mountain in the middle of nowhere. Not having batteries also means it’s super light-weight and easy to hold for long mushroom-hunting excursions.
I would’ve rated this 4.5 stars if that was an option because the usb charging cord fell apart the second time I used it. The charger still works but wires are exposed and it makes me nervous to use. That obviously isn’t a deal-breaker for me because I just ordered two more because I want one of these in both cars and one for the house.
I'm telling you: This is a BRIGHT LIGHT! Excellent distance illumination.

This previous 6-volt lantern flashlights are so LAME compared to this thing. This light is surprisingly lightweight. We have not run the battery down yet, but I charge it every few weeks anyway. Will get this product again; maybe for gifting.
So I have had this light for a month now and I have yet to charge the battery. I use it several times during the week. It is the brightest LED flashlight I have owned to date. The beam is very strong and the wide part of the light lights up my yard just fine. It’s the first flashlight I have found that the beam will reach the tree line behind my house Which is about 800yards! Love It, Highly Recommend! It doesn’t get hot either. Very light weight. Came with two mini lights(USB style) that plug in the back of the flashlight. Makes it nice if you wanted to use the light for walking because using the main light on the ground in front of you is literally to bright!! My brother bought one after using mine and he loves it also.

This flashlight seems to weigh half as much as my old 2 D-cell flashlights. And it is very bright. The handle makes it easy to carry. I've been carrying it on my evening walks and it has been a very effective deterrent for a mid-sized aggressive dog and wants to approach from behind me. A little bright light in its face and the growling ceases and it retreats. Best recommendation - I purchased a second unit and though on the large size for carrying in a car I will probably buy more for that purpose.
Its not a tough light, but for shining off the front porch and keeping it in the house or truck, you can't beat it. I believe it would shine out to 1000 yards, but I only have 880 yards in the field in front of me. Perfect for what I need and its cheap cost, and suitable quality.
I read numerous reviews, negative and positive, before ordering. I was not sure what I was going to get. I was looking for a replacement of an old incandescent lead acid battery handheld spotlight. This unit is tiny and weightless by comparison. It is, however, a much brighter (and more focused) beam of light. And the battery lasts for hours. The documentation is also good for a laugh, as english is clearly not a strength for the translator. Overall, I'm satisfied.
Even with the low beam, I can light up my 6 acres. With the high beam, things are even brighter. Since we have a cougar prowling at night and the dog needs to have his potty breaks in the evening, it's nice to be able to spot ANYTHING at a long distance. I am totally impressed with this flashlight. Beats Maglight and many others I've used over the years. And it projects a nice wide beam which is a huge plus. Highly recommend this light to anyone who lives in rural areas. Or any other area as far as that is concerned.
I bought this 30-bucks light to replace a heavy, unwieldy marine spotlight that cost many times its price. This device is lightweight (404g or 14.2 oz by accurate measurement) and, in my view, is extremely bright. I observed none of the defects, weaknesses, or other troubles that others have mentioned, and it doesn't seem to be fragile if not seriously abused. That it can double as a reserve phone charger adds a great deal to its utility. Its water resistance is IPX4 (protection from splashing water, but not immersion), so its use is dubious in a marine environment. But on balance, it appears to be a very good value.
