Superior 378GOBKL Endura WaterStop/Oilbloc Goat Grain Leather Drivers Glove with Kevlar Lined, Work, Cut Resistant, Medium (Pack of 1 Pair)

Most of us go through a pair of work gloves once a year if not sooner. I purchased these gloves April of 1916 and am finally purchasing a replacement. The index finger of the right hand has split open, after three years of cutting and stacking wood, mowing with a scythe, grubbing with a mattock, and being caught out in the rain. These are by far the best work gloves I have ever owned. I have no reservations in highly recommending this glove to you as an excellent product.

These are some of the most comfortable gloves I have ever owned. The thin lining feels good and the cut resistance is pretty excellent to have. It adds a little bulk, but they don't feel any bulkier than cowhide gloves.

They do have a strong smell when new - it seems to be disapating with time. It smells like tanned/treated leather.

These gloves were made in Pakistan. The stitching is tight and well done. The construction is quite good.

I'm on my second pair, as the first pair was destroyed, yet, my hand was undamaged. I did something stupid, but the kevlar gave me that extra split second so my hand wasn't sliced open. I bought a second pair, but the fit isn't quite as good as the first. They are still good gloves, and when the humidity dies down, I'll start using them again. If you have to take gloves off, and put them back on frequently, sweaty hands will hinder that.

Love these gloves! I ordered two different brands of Kevlar lined gloves at the same time to see wich ones were better, and even thought the others were a few dollars cheaper, they are not built or feel nearly as good. These are the gloves I constantly grab for at work now.

I work for a utility company and deal with wire and water and my gloves go through some serious beatings and these gloves by far are the longest lasting and best gloves ever.

Description

Superior supple goat grain drivers gloves are processed with Superior's own oilbloc treatment for exceptional water and oil repellency. Oil simply won't soak through, not hours or even days after being dropped onto leather. (Untreated leather absorbs oils and liquids within seconds of contact.) And because it can't penetrate and leave a mark, gloves are highly stain resistant, and without picking up contamination, provide greater safety. They are also tough and long lasting: goatskin is prized for it's high tensile-strength and abrasion-resistant properties, and is often referred to as nature's strongest leather. Arc-flash testing placed these gloves at level 2, with a rating of ATPV = 21 cal/square cm. Note: these gloves are designed for spark and flame resistance, not thermal contact. Applications include automotive, steel mills, metal stamping, parts, material handling, maintenance, petroleum industry, manufacturing, industrial, construction, forklift, truck drivers, farm equipment, mining and utilities.
