These are perfectly functional work gloves with a snug and comfortable fit around the fingers. I don't care for work gloves that are too loose; I find it hard to grasp objects if the fit isn't great. So I usually buy more expensive work-gloves to get that great fit. The fingers on these are long and slim (not too tight; just right). The material isn't the world's most sturdy, but I like it. The cloth backing is cooler than thicker gloves for working in hot weather. And it's thin enough I can roll a pair of gloves together and throw them in my backpack for hiking or camping. As a result, I use these gloves a lot--for more than just gardening and home improvement projects. The 3-pack of different-colored gloves is perfect. I never misplace the red or yellow pair in my backpack (or in the garage, or anywhere else). A really great value. I will be buying these again.
These gloves have quickly become the gloves I reach for when doing yard work, working in garage and other do-it-yourself projects around home. First and foremost, these gloves are COMFORTABLE. In the past, I have used leather gloves of various types to protect my hands while doing rough work. Many of those leather gloves were so rough and tough they were actually the cause of sore spots and blisters on my hands. Firm Grip gloves, however, are extremely comfortable, while still providing excellent hand protection. They wear very well -- much better than cotton gloves and other common gardening gloves. This is my third repurchase of Firm Grip gloves. Give your hands a gift and buy these gloves.
This is my second time purchasing the 3-pair of gloves from Firm Grip. It's not because the first three pairs were poor quality, it's because I use these gloves for all my gardening work... and I do a lot of gardening. I did actually wear out 1 pair, and the other two are nearing the end of their life expectancy, but I literally treat these gloves like dirt. Digging, weeding, landscaping, pruning, you name it. In two or three more years, I'll order more. Love the comfort, love the fit. love the durability.
They felt light weight, but they were good strong gloves. I have bad circulation, so they did great insulating my finger tips when touching metal. I worked as a plumber at the time, so that was kinda a big deal. The palm up to the finger tips is covered in a rubberized material that assisted greatly when aiming for a firm grip, so it definately lives up to its name. They are to be machine washed, but DO NOT put them in the dryer. These gloves should hang to dry ONLY.
Bought these locally a few years ago and wore them out. Couldn't find them around town, so ordered here. They are fairly inexpensive. They are very comfortable, and have very good dexterity for a work glove (can pick up nuts and washers fine). Each pair I had before lasted about 2 years of routine yard work and a week plus of heavy construction work. My favorite work glove of many I've tried unless I need the thickness of leather for some reason. I would not pull out pricker bushes with these, but certainly can handle them if the bush was cut with clippers first.

As a hurricane Harvey volunteer these gloves were sacrificed to the effort. They hauled mangled belongings, rotting food, pulled down wall board and saturated insulation. Through it all they protected my hands and therefore my safety. By the end of two homes, they were spent, not worn out, spent. I could not rinse them clean of the trash they had handled. Will I buy them again, "absolutely".
These work well for many light or medium duty tasks. They degrade quickly and provide little protection if you are moving firewood and like activities. But they work well for using garden implements and carpentry.
Hello.
I have worked outside for many years. From the oil fields in Montana to the forest's in Alaska falling timber, i still work falling timber sometimes the temp is 16* above zero. I use these gloves for comfort while i drive to and from work. After all these years of working anything that makes my hands feel better believe me i use it..
Thank-you Amazon.
Terry.
I had 3 pairs from Home Depot years ago.. and they finally wore out. HD no longer had them, and found them on Amazon, lucky me. Great, tough, cool, washer safe, everything except for bushes with thorns! Seem to be being discontinued?! Rats. Short sighted? If you find them, buy them.
I am a professional mechanic. I got tired of spending $20-30 for one pair of work gloves that quickly become so dirty that they can’t be cleaned.
For the price of one pair I now get 3. I find them as durable as entry level mechanix or snip-on gloves. They fit well, and after a month or so, when they are too dirty, I just throw them out.
