These are just cool to have. I bought them to handle small animals. I think small pointy teeth and claws (like cat or ferret) would still get thru the material weave but it works so far as to give me some protection against nips and scared biting.
This is a life saver. I was working on a project that was much smaller than I am used to resulting in a number of cuts. Buying these gloves saved me from a number of painful/annoying injuries without really restricting finer control over my tools. Definitely worth the buy.
