I'm a production equipment maintenance mechanic and I know work gloves. For the last 40+ years I've been using all kinds of gloves from dainty thin leather ones to heavy duty welding gloves. Somewhere there in between I have been looking for a decent pair of gloves that'll protect my hands but not feel like I have on boxing gloves. These fit the bill perfectly. The leather palms are perfect for handling metal, whether cutting or grinding. The cloth part keeps them very flexible so that I can still maneuver my hands behind a motor in a tight spot and start the hold down bolts. Of course I have different gloves for the seriously heavy-duty jobs but for general repairs where hand protection is recommended, these are perfect. Shame to use them though cause they're "pretty". Wish they came in all black or brown. Excellent fit and great quality. Take it from someone who knows gloves, the only thing you'll regret for buying these is getting them dirty ; )
These gloves have surprised the "bleep" out of me! As we all know, gloves are going to be used and abused. These will get you through any job and not skip a beat. Just the right amount of insulation so I'm not cold but not sweaty once being used for awhile. The padded protection doesn't hinder use like other higher priced gloves. Hardest part will be convincing yourself to get them dirty.
I was looking for a pair of general work gloves. Yard work, backpacking, auto repair, etc.
So far used them for auto repair work. They fit well, seem very durable, and have good protection on the outside of the fingers. The leather is very supple.
For the $13 or so I paid for them, they seem like a great deal hence the 5 stars. I just ordered 2 more pairs.
Will update this post if I have any issues with durability.
Great gloves I work in trash and they are great they help prevent puncture wounds and scrapes and they don't turn your hands to soup. They also prevent the terrible dirt buildup on the backs and sides of my hands, and as a side reprieve you can machine wash them......but this IS NOT a listed feature.
I like these so much that I have already ordered and received a pair of the winter work gloves. Both pairs fit well and seem to be high quality products. I have been working as a mechanic since the late 60's and have used a lot of different gloves over the years, some were big brand names with much bigger price tags but I think these will do just as well. Time will tell.

my old Marker brand gloves were dead. I looked at the clutch gear ones and had to have them. i'm a ski instructor at keystone Colorado and we need to have gloves on. these are perfect for spring sking /working. I've showed other instructors and they were very impressed. perfect balance of cool and protection in spring.
These gloves felt great from the first moment I put them on. The leather is tough. However, the backs of the gloves are made of a cloth material that can tear easily. I really like these gloves and would buy them again for projects around the house. Unfortunately, my job requires me to reach into and be around rough and sometimes sharp edges.
Higher standards across the board, than a couple others tried.
Only used for a couple weeks, but they are doing exceptionally well compared to the others.
What I like is that there really comfortable there super durable not real hot and well there just a damn good glove. I use them for trucking. Chains straps binders ect I am pretty hard on gloves and well these have been the best so far. Price is not to bad still should be a bit lower. HINT HINT I WILL BUY ALOT MORE if they were a buck less in price. Hell I think there made over seas so you know there is a bit of room to come down on price. But never the less there a damn good glove.
