Protects my wife's hands while gardening, even when pruning the many rose bushes with their thorns. We bought a dozen for the price; our original pair lasted about 9 6 months, so we should be good for 5-7 years. We highly recommend; be use to get the right size (they run true to size) as there isn't a lot of stretch, though they flex very well.
I use these gloves for washing my dishes. I have a pair that I bought in the Ashland, OR co-op a couple of years ago and had to retire them, not because they were leaking, but because they started to mold inside from moisture, probably from my hands sweating. What I LOVE is that I can use scalding hot water to wash my dishes, and unlike regular dish gloves, this doesn't compromise them in any way. They never sprung a leak in two years. Hallelujah. I'm going to share these with my dish-glove wearing friends.
