CLC Custom Leathercraft 2060M Top Grain Goatskin Work Gloves, Medium

CLC Custom Leathercraft 2060M Top Grain Goatskin Work Gloves, Medium

These are nice quality goatskin work gloves at a fair price. They are far more flexible and softer than cowhide gloves.and finger dexterity much better. Can't comment on durability yet but they are much thicker than the pigskin gloves that I wore out in one season last year. In a comparison of leather glove performance, goatskin is unsurpassed in flexibility, dexterity and breathability and is rated good at puncture resistance, cold blocking and abrasion resistance. It also dries soft and flexible after getting wet unlike cowhide. Recommend highly
Comparison of glove performance included.

After years spent in the building trades I am now retired, but I still do lots of work on our house and grounds. Getting gloves that fit my large hands and would not wear out within weeks has been a problem for decades.
I realize now that my own ignorance combined with a reluctance to pay $20 for a pair of gloves were at fault. I've worn cowhide, canvas and leather, nitrile, even kevlar gloves and they all were disappointing. I recently bought a pair of goatskin gloves from CLC and realized what I've been missing all these years. These gloves fit perfectly and they are TOUGH. Amazingly, they remain supple, even after getting soaked and drying out. I now realize that my unwillingness to spend a little more for a pair of goatskin gloves was a false economy. I have ordered a second pair just in case there's a calamity and the stores close. Good gloves are essential and these gloves are that good. Get some!

For years I've bought gloves from plenty of companies to cowhide to cotton and they never lasted me the summer season, but these did sure after they dry they're hard as rocks but they are all leather I will be buying more after I loose these or something. But also these are tougher than any other gloves I've ever seen I've yanked rosebushes from the stalk without the thorns stabbing my hand!

Great medium thickness and regular medium duty , all around work gloves ! I coat them with a mink oil treatment and they stay supple and water resistant for a long time , Tougher and longer lasting than most other types while still allowing good dexterity . My go to gloves for several years now .

I have purchased these before along with several other brands. These are the gloves I only buy now. They last a long time and believe me I put them through a lot

Premium top grain goatskin keystone thumb with palm patch and shirred wrist with leather binding.

Needed something that would work for me when I was pruning my roses. Goatskin gloves were recommended and these are exactly what I needed !! They arrived on time and are very comfortable to wear. I'm thrilled to report that I didn't feel one thorn and the gloves did not tear. They were very reasonably priced and the product is well made. My first opportunity, I'm glovres for my daughter and grandson so they will have them for when they work in their garden.

...except they lack homing devices for when you misplace them. I'm on my 3rd or 4th set of these. When I pull poison ivy I toss them into the wash which isn't the best for them, but I do it.

If you are in between sizes or not sure, go with the smaller of the two. I'm a medium / large, but the large was just too big. Yet I wear large gloves in other brands.

I read that dedicated Rose pruners use goatskin gloves for the rose pruning. I have to say after two months of use they are really very nice, supple, and not nearly as prone to getting pierced by the large thorns.

I have a medium to small hand and the size medium was about right, a bit large but very usable.

Great Gloves Broke in very quick! The Goatskin is nice and pliable but thick. Better than what I can buy local!! I used them to shovel dirt and found that the blisters I got from lesser gloves were not there!!
