I have cheap plastic flashlights lying all around my house. They're the type that come in multi packs at TSC. They're fine and do the job, but my kids are always getting hold of them and running the batteries down. I had stun gun flashlights which I really liked, but got too worried about the kids getting hold of them. So I turned to my heavy duty maglites which work well, and make me feel invincible when I am carrying them outside in the dark. Then I get back inside and set them down, and can't find them the next time I need one. So I ordered these.
I set up small command hooks inside my front and back doors and these have wrist straps so are easy to hang from them. The kids know these are off limits to them and I know to put them back so I don't lose them.
The light is nice and bright for walking to the chicken coop at night. I had fun playing with all the zoom features. My neighbors were probably less impressed.
I am using the 3 AAA batteries option. To be honest, I don't really understand the purpose of the plastic battery tubes that came with it. I'm not into the "specs" or tech side or whatever. I just want good flashlights that do the job and are more durable than the cheap plastic ones. I also like that they have a little weight to them.

almost a block away at night from my driveway. It will go into a wide range mode and light up my entire yard with easy. Waterproof in case you are out in the rain.

I have been extremely impressed by these flashlights. I use the plural because you get two in the package. I did all of my experimenting with 3AAA batteries because I had then at hand and they are readily available. The flashlights worked great even though it probably would have been even brighter with the other batteries. I especially liked the adjustable focus feature which lets you light up a room or just focus on a small area. You can change the focus by pulling out the flashlight head about one inch with the light on. I did not test the waterproof feature. The flashlight is well constructed and comfortable to hold. I liked the combat style head which could be used as a weapon in an emergency even though the brightness of the flashlight would probably temporarily startle an intruder and frighten him. While I don't think that there are that many people who can copy SOS, it is a good way to get attention from oncoming traffic at night. Since the flashlight can be seen at night on a highway at a long distance it increase your chances of getting help. I plan to keep one of the flashlights in my car and one at home. I am going to order several more packages of flashlights this Christmas season. They makes a great, reasonably priced present for family and friends. I would recommend that you buy this.
These LED flashlights are worth every penny. That they're as bright as they are (1600 lumens) in such a small package, powered by only 3 AAAs is impressive. I initially bought these for power outages, but quickly realized how well these will work around the house and when I work on my cars. I like them. they are bright and durable. I work in security and tried them with my staff. They have been dropped a few times and still work. I will be buying more. The officers will be getting their own for Christmas.
In our house, we already have several flashlights. One is a large heavy duty maglite brand. Recently, I misplaced it and the other flashlights I have are garbage in comparison. My wife got me these 2 new flashlights and surprised me with them. I am very impressed with their brightness and overall construction. They are much smaller and compact than my larger one (which is still MIA) which makes them great for taking with me on the go. I will keep one at home and one in my car. One interesting feature about these flashlights is how you focus the beam. Instead of turning the large end of the light to widen or narrow the beam like most lights, these simply slide forward or backward. This makes changing the beam instantaneous and quick. These flashlights also have some cool illumination features. High, Medium, and low settings, a strobe and S.O.S. features as well! I don't know if I'll ever need those, but its cool to know I have the choices. 2 lights at this price? I HIGHLY recommend them!
These are well worth the money. They’re small enough to not be bulky, but they’re still super bright, especially when you zoom in. These flashlights also made me realize that it’s not easy to get a good picture of a flashlight shining lol but I tried to people can get an idea of their brightness 😊
These flashlights are durable & are a nice size. They are really bright. They also have an adjustable illumination area where you can rapidly zoom in & out with ease.
I like the smaller size as it takes only one of the lithium 18650 batteries. I used to carry one of the longer, similar, flashlights that took 2 of the above batteries. It was a little long to carry on my belt every day and would get in the way. These shorter ones are just right and seem to be just as bright. They don't come with batteries but the price is good. A while back I had bought a multi pack of the lithium batteries so I take an extra with me while on the job. When I swap one out I just charge the other one. I like them enough that I am going to purchase another 2 pack to have on hand as I use my flashlights every day and they do wear out after a while.
