I just purchased these lights. I was worried that there weren't enough bulbs on the string. However after hanging them on my back porch I quickly realized that it puts off enough light. The craftsmanship seems to be heavy duty and should hold up in the elements of being outside.
I used 1 inch teacup hangers to hang the lights in the eaves of the house. They were easy to install and held the lights with no trouble.
Went to a local home improvement store and was about to buy two boxes of similar lights that we're on sale. However, before I checked out I decided to go on Amazon and see what was available. These were almost half the price, so after reading the reviews, I decided to give them a try.
I liked them so much, I ordered an additional string. They brighten our back deck up and give it a relaxing atmosphere.
One thing to keep in mind is that these are brighten lights. If you want something that will put out plenty of light, these are perfect. If you're going for something with a little accent lighting, there are better options out there.

Look and work so well. From the moment I got these lights, they did not disappoint. These are really well made and have been in a super hot climate for several months with no issues. We live in a tropical environment with super humid days and rain on and off. They have performed great. The wiring is a super heavy gauge and the bulbs are well protected. I would highly recommend these if you are looking to add to outdoor space for a really cool look. Make sure not to install the line with bulbs in like I did... Stupid I know. Good news is our package came with an extra bulb!
I meant to order LED, but didn't pay attention and got these incandescent lights. Happy I did, as the light quality is really great. I don't think LEDs can match the warm quality of incandescent lights. I don't run them all the time, only when entertaining in the backyard, so the energy savings of LEDs is not a big deal. My only complaint is I think they should have a longer cord on the male (plug) end of the string and a shorter cord on the female end of the string. Since I am only using one string, there is a lot of excess cord at the end and could use more at the beginning so it would reach my outlet without an extension. Otherwise great product and shipped promptly.
Ever seen parenthood? Well my wife has and this has been her dream for our deck. Lights are awesome. Much happier with incandescent over led. They dim with no issues, they are not that warm (11 watts don’t get that hot). They look great and the wire is thick very strong. We still used steel cable to hang them across our 20 foot deck which I would recommend. All lights came packaged very well. Extra bulbs also included.

like these lights a lot. they seem to be good quality, come with everything you need including the bulbs. one extra. Cord is very thick.
I needed some new outdoor lights for my deck, and ive seen lights like these out on patios and such for restaurants and brewerys so I decided to try em out. They came nicely packaged and secure they were easy to set up and hang they also come with two spare bulbs. I put them up during the day so I had to wait til the evening to really test em out so when that time came I went to check em out and BAM! these babies really brought my deck to life, they are nice and bright look great. I have about a 12x5 deck so they light up place nicely. If they were any brighter I probably wouldn't like them as much but they are perfect! Im thinking about buying more and putting them along my whole fence in the back yard.
These lights were exactly what we wanted for our patio. They cast a soft white glow, giving us the perfect amount of light for drinks in the evening, or early winter mornings with our dog. We ordered 3 sets and ended up only needing 2, but keeping the 3rd in case one strand shorts out down the line. Would definitely recommend.
Bought to string up through the rafters in my loft apartment. Lights look great and get lots of compliments. I wouldn't buy these with the intention to use solely as a light source for a room or deck though, they're just not bright enough unless youre tying together several strands. Great for what I need as accent/mood lights in my living room at night though.
Those are great and look great on my patio. I bought 2 strings so it’s 14 lights. I replaced the bulbs with LED. Running this string with the bulbs that are included would be craziness in this day and age. Only 4 stars because I think they should cone with LED fir a bit higher price.
