Ironclad Ranchworx Work Gloves RWG2, Premier Leather Work Glove, Performance Fit, Durable, Machine Washable, Sized S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL (1 Pair)

Without a doubt, THE BEST work gloves I've EVER had...and I'm a 70 year old, 6'6", 300 pound hunka hunka burnin' outdoorsman. I drive my pickup into the woods and swamps of Florida to collect LARGE plant material to make BIG bonsais. I use a double-ratchet come-along, steel shovel, axe, and sawzall to cut deeply rooted oaks, bald cypress, and banyan trees outta the ground. My hands are HUGE and I have trouble finding ANY work gloves that put up with my sh/t. My hands are like hams and these 3X's fit great. Also, I sweat like a pig and all my other leather gloves shrink up when they dry out to the point where I'm like OJ trying to pull them on in front of the jury. Seriously, these gloves are PERFECT...expensive...but PERFECT. If I were a few years younger I could see myself using them to fight MMA in a cage. I LOVE THESE GLOVES!!! Just bought a second pair.

I live on a farm in PA, and I'm pretty rough on my gloves. I've been using these going on 5 weeks now, and while they definitely show signs of wear, they are intact and 100% function still. These are the longest lasting work gloves I've had in a long time, and I'm pretty rough on gloves.

Other reviewers have warned not to get them wet, that they'll quickly fall apart afterwards. That hasn't been my experience. I've gotten them wet a number of times (working in the rain, using hoses, etc.) and while they might be deteriorating "faster" then they normally would, they've still outlasted my other work gloves by weeks. Once I've worn through this pair I'll definitely be picking up a few more.

These are great work gloves. They are built well... materials are tough, yet still flexible. They have very good gription,

My hand measured out on their size chart to be a perfect XL. So, I got XXL... and they fit great! I hate gloves that fit skin tight, and the extra sizing gave the gloves the loosenosity that I want... especially in the finger tips. All the rubber knuckle and finger guards line up right where they should. They feel like nothing is there; and they bend like nothing is there too! Nice job on that, guys!

But... (and there's always a "but") Once you have them on and are working away in some colder weather (not horrible cold weather cuz they are not an insulated glove) your nose will start to run... and this is when you have to be extremely careful with them. They have a great nose wipe cloth on top of the thumbs. It works slick! (maybe a poor choice of words there, but you know what I mean) The only problem is, if you over-shoot the top of the thumb wipe you hit that "corocodile cloth" that lines the inside of the thumb and index finger ... and you are going to remove hide from your nose's bottom! You could polish battery posts with that stuff. So, be careful out there. Maybe practice your wipe moves a few times before you have to do it for real... or just stick with your jacket cuff.

Whoever designed these knows ergonomics and where dexterity is needed. I don't agree that picking up a small object using thumb and forefinger is easily done but I don't go outside to sew. However, holding nails, tape measure, pressing the screen on my IPhone, writing in a notebook, turning pages, etc are all accomplished easy enough. Sizing per their website was accurate for me in a Ten. Why that information isn't offered here is kind of goofy but who's to say. I'd rate these gloves down to around 30 degrees if you're moderately active. If stationary or the wind is up or the temp drops below that consider an alternative. I work outside year round...this is a solid piece of gear.

Excellent tough gloves! Saw them sold at a local Red Wing shoe store for a higher price but hard working customers say they are the best. Washable goat skin. Reinforcements everywhere. Stretch to fit. Velcro closure. Kevlar in critical wear areas. Knuckle saving rubber or similar material on top of fingers and reinforced tips. Snug fit but not confining. Gives the hand good flexibility to pick up small things without having to remove the gloves. I will use mine for mowing and yard work and should last many years properly cared for. Ranchworx Leather Gloves

Just got these gloves. I've used them once to so far for moving and they were comfortable, good padding, protected my hands and held up without any issue, which is what you would expect from these. Obviously time will tell how well they hold up so for now they are 5 star.

I am a big Mechanix fan. These have 3 major advantages over all the Mechanix pairs I've owned: 1 - velcro closure...words cannot describe how much I despise the under the wrist velcro closure Mechanix uses, I don't know why they continue to use it. The Ironclad velcro closer is on the outside of the glove which will hopefully experience less wear than the Mechanix. 2 - the glove fit is outstanding, I have slightly longer fingers compared to my hand size which means I typically have to size up in gloves which makes for a slightly loser fit all the way around; the Ironclad is the first glove I've found that has slightly longer fingers, it is a snug fit but not uncomfortable and being leather they will stretch a bit over time. 3 - they don't stop at the base of the hand like the Mechanix gloves do which will hopefully contribute to less stress on the velcro closure as well. And they had the knuckle protection which my Mechanix did not have.

So great fit, protection and price, yeah I'm sold.

my favorite work glove - simply the best rancher type glove - bought three more :). I used the standard rancher glove that you can get anywhere or Costco in this case and yep they are good solid gloves but i tore through two pairs with duct tape fingers from heavy use - granted they did get wet from time to time but they did not last as long as the ironclad product which also got wet planting trees and I thought surely they would degrade and start holes and what not but nope they recovered after a light cleaning and drying and some warm sweat in them and right back to feeling like your favorite baseball glove just fits nice.

cheers and thanks Ironclad - i also have several other gloves from them for shooting and what not and those are great too but this is the shizzz nat :)

I do a lot of woodworking and would go through a pair of what I thought were good gloves almost weekly. I tried out numerous different manufacturers with the same outcome. Ripped easily or tore on me. I figured why not try these. They're not cheap nor are they expensive. As the old saying goes you get what you pay for. So far this pair of gloves are standing up great. My only issue is following many of the recommendations from others I ordered one size larger, XL's. Didn't fit well, too loose. I simply decided to keep them and see how long they last. When I order them again I'll order them in large. Great product so far.

I had these gloves for approximately one hour, before they were stolen. Within that hour I discovered that I love these gloves I finally found a pair of gloves that fits my 3x Hands. I was so impressed by these that after they were stolen I promptly bought me another pair. If you have large hands these are the gloves for you! I can’t tell you about the durability of the STOLEN GLOVES...... however, I can tell you what other people want them too. I wouldn’t recommend them for barbwire as some have complained about. My experience with Barbwire and security wire as you need thick leather gloves to work with these. Also remember that oil and different types of lubricant will break down any glove.

God, I loved these gloves so much. Protected me from anything and everything.

Although I didn't wear them daily, I found every excuse in my spare time to wear them. My girlfriend knew how much I loved them so she didn't give me too much of a hard time for wearing them around the house for the dumbest things. You want me to move the TV? Let me get my gloves! You want me to assemble the furniture? Let me get my gloves! You want me to cook dinner? Let me get my gloves! Hahaha.

Seriously though. These were some good gloves. For things like gardening, the glove material is good for scraping the dirt and digging shallow areas with the tips of your fingers. That I could tell, the material was not affected by the gardening whatsoever. It held up very well with planting trees, bushes, and plants. I even removed a dead half-way cut palm tree with just these gloves and a $15 axe. Took me a while to get the roots out but I wouldn't have been able to do it if the gloves were not sturdy enough to allow me to grab on to the roots and repeatedly pull them out.

They protect well against a cactus, ocotillo, aloe vera plants and other native desert landscaping. Obviously, you have to oerate around these things with care but they're good protection if you accidentally brush across a cactus. Can't hardly feel anything. Again, I don't intentially grab cacti all day so I don't know what repeated stress against sharp objects would do but I know they held up against sharp objects very well.

Pulling weeds held up fine. Allowed me to do three hours of work rather than just one because my hands started hurting. You could probably pull weeds for 4-6 hours with no issues. They're comfortable enough that the repeated rub against your hand isn't felt but your fingers still have enough feeling to feel your way around the base of the weed and accurately find the center and pull it up.

I've used it with some general woodworking, fence crafting, coop building, a/c work, furniture sanding, sealing, and painting, oil changes and other motorcycle work. It held up well with the building-related things but you might find it hard to work with smaller parts until you've worn the glove in very well. So, in that respect, dexterity may be impacted by the thickness and durability of the glove material. This can be a barrier and honestly, I'll probably not use them very often for motorcycle work. These gloves will absorb the oil - even if you are careful - and you need that oil/water/liquid resistant surface on the glove palm to work properly with motorcycle or auto work so while the gloves could probably hold up, I really would not recommend them for that type of work.

The gloves lasted three months of use with no sign of falling apart but someone (my little brother most likely) must have had sticky fingers because they went missing after the last group yard project we held a few months back.

I think if you use these all day, every day, you can expect them to last 1-3 months. People have unrealistic expectations of gloves. If you can perform your work for 1-3 months, 8-10 hours per day then the glove has done it's job and the truth is that you're in a profession that requires a cost to maintain. I work in IT and I consider having my own IT equipment at home - that the company does not pay for - as part of the cost of work.

So for those complaining about how they hold up against every day use - be realistic! I have motorcycle gloves that cost me $80. They've lasted about 7-8 months of every day use but are starting to show signs of wear and a strap is broken; they will last another 3-4 months max (so $80-100 per year to wear my gloves every day on my motorcycle). So, if you want a better quality glove, you need to put more money into it. The strength and quality of a material is definitely impacted by what you're willing to pay.

Otherwise, this is a good glove. You can't go wrong here.
