Medium weight white, cotton duck with a blue, slightly elastic band. I have owned several pairs of these gloves and they do well in the yard and wash well in the washer. Yes, wash them and they last longer. These are the gloves you see at nursery checkout counters for $8 the pair. Except you get 12 pair for less than $13. Good value.
These are great inexpensive work gloves. They're a little large for my women's hands but are a real help for protecting my hands and nails from dirt when I garden. I like that I can just toss them in the washer.
Great price - well made inexpensive glove. My adult son is allergic to poison ivy, oak and basically anything green - yet loves to garden .. This was a great investment and washable.
If you need gloves for a dirty job, want to bleach them, and don't really care about whether they can hold water (because they sure do!) these are good for what you need.
These are well worth the cost. And so versatile. I use them as prizes at our high school cross-country ski banquet.
