I purchased these for my dad for Father's Day and he loves them! They fit him beautifully and he has large hands at over six feet tall.
These are sturdy and well made with tightly sewn seams. The palms and fingers are a nice, thick suede and protect hands from thorns and such when working around the yard, yet there is still enough flexibility to allow for the dexterity to use things like the lawnmower and to pick up small sticks. The suede also allows for a good grip on things which a smooth palm would not.
Overall, these were definitely a hit and we both highly recommend them!
I’m not tall and have slender hands but these fit me in Large. Frankly, a big guy may find these tight. That said, they’re ideal w8nter gloves down to 30F, and they’re also perfect gym weightlifting gloves. They whip off easily and are ten times better for pumping iron than the tight fingerless numbers. Ideal.
best gloves EVER! Barbed wire, or tree limbs, cant beat this for the price.
UPDATE: A little under a year later of hard work, they're still going strong. The insides have barely came apart like most others.
I bought these gloves for a house move and they've proven to be great work gloves. The leather is very thick in the palm and index finger and provides ample protection when handling stuff like stone blocks and they also stand up to even the biggest rose thorns. They have a denim backing and cuff so unlike some heavy gloves they are flexible and breathe well. To top it off, they're cheap enough you don't need to shy away from using them on any tough or dirty job.
EXCELLENT ★★★ Amazing product really please

Heavy duty,well made
These are fine.
I used Wells Lamont gloves to haul hay when I was a kid. They were absolutely indestructible.
Well, when I got sick of buying cheap gloves at the big box stores, gloves that would literally split in the first five minutes of use, I went back to Wells Lamont.
Turns out, even twenty years later, WL is still making some fricking tough gloves. Nice to see you around again, fellas.
I burn through five to seven pairs of work gloves a year - if they're good ones! These seem like I'll get a little more out of them. Solid, good fit for my bigmeat hooks, will even clear a small thumb brace.
I bought these to put in our emergency "go bag" kits so they would be handy for digging through rubble in the event of an earthquake or tornado. They were perfect for my husband but much too large for me. He loved them and since the price was good he had me order 3 more pairs for work.
