Excellent quality. I used these to handle logs for my wood stove. I wear them (1) as a precaution -- to make sure my arm doesn't accidentally touch and get burned by the wood stove door, and, (2) because I sometimes like to place logs in a particular way in a fire.
Okay, here me out. We had what we thought was a pretty aggressive male cat. But after doing some reading we realised he was just energetic and bored and the toys and way we were playing with him wasn't doing it. So, we bought these gloves and started kinda wrestling with him and viola! He's now the most affectionate cat we've ever owned!! He burns off all his pentup energy fighting with the gloves and he knows the difference between gloves and hands so he doesn't attack hands, so the rest of the day he is just a sweet happy cat!
Full disclosure we also started giving him lots of treats for good behavior, which also helped a ton. We learned that from doing some research too.
I bought these to protect my hands while volunteering at a Raku pottery firing event. These were perfect for handling the hot metal cages/kiln covers and tongs. These kiln temperatures are in the 1800°F range, so these gloves really needed to handle the heat. They did it well.
Outside got quite dirty and a little wet, but I still felt protected. (the water was a bit unfortunate though) Best pair of gloves at the event.
a bit heavy but still a good bargain. Im updating this review becuase the seller offered to refund some of my purchase cost because I felt they were a bit heavy for my welding needs. I work in some pretty tight spaces that require a fine touch. They are still a good bargain for a welding glove and the customer service is certainly top notch.
Bought for use around the fire ring while camping. They were perfect. I could lift burning logs and reposition them. Would not like... HOLD the log a long time, but these will be great for shifting logs and handling hot cast iron.

The work great, but they seemed to run a little small. They would be good for a woman with small hands or kids. For a man's hands, they were very tight.
Really nice pair of Chinese gloves that will save you some money. Soft, yellow leather areas that are plenty heat resistant. Despite Kevlar stitching, don't expect the seams to stay closed any longer than any other gloves when globules of molten metal fall between fingers--holes WILL open up (hate using flux core with all the spatter but have to sometimes). Great gloves and even better when considering the low cost.
I have large hands and these fit well. The length is great for grilling. The blue with yellow trim is fabulous if your favorite sports team has matching colors. Good insulation from the heat and overall great quality and construction.
These are fantastic. I wish they made them smaller or at least made some for women as these are super large and I can fit both of my hands into one and still have room for more. Excellent product though and works very well. Not a single burn from filling up my wood furnace this winter after I bought these. I am pleased and if I need another pair I'd be happy to buy them again even though they are too large.
For anything that is really hot, a burning log in fire place, hot grill, you have about 10 seconds before you feel the heat.
Well made but these are Fire RESISTANT not PROOF. Well made, good quality but for Welding, super hot items, these are not bullet proof.
