Grain Pigskin Leather Palm Glove

Grain Pigskin Leather Palm Glove (1917-L)

Grain Pigskin Leather Palm Glove (1917-L)

I go through a lot of leather gloves. I had been buying 3-packs of Wells Lamont leather gloves from Costco for $20. But when I would work outside digging, moving rocks, chainsawing trees, etc., those gloves would only last for a few weeks of work before the fingers would wear all the way through, or occasionally the stitching on the palm would fail and the glove would open up.

One pair of these gloves easily lasts longer than three pairs of those other leather work gloves (not sure how much longer, as I haven't finished them off yet). So, just for that, this is actually a cheaper solution at twice the price of a pair of those leather gloves.

But these are also more comfortable, and when they get wet, they dry soft, unlike cow leather gloves that are stiff as a board after they dry out. They are also cut more generously, so it doesn't cut off the circulation in my fingers from pressing against the sides as those other leather ones do.

I've used many other leather work gloves over the years, many better than the Wells Lamont ones (but also more expensive). Any way I can think of it, these gloves are worth the higher price and both outlast and outperform cow leather gloves I've had.

I have been using nothing but these gloves for 12 years, started when working at a steel company, cheap leather sometimes wouldn’t last a few days. Pigskin gloves from Kinco would go months under some of the worse conditions. Been sold on then ever since. Normal use and you should get years. If they get wet they don’t hard like leather too

these are described as a youth glove but fit my daughter who is a petite size 4 so I would not recommend for a child under abt 10--I had bought these hoping they would fit a 6 yr old and were way to big so be aware--other than that the gloves are great--some of the best gloves around--they work well as they are not thick and clumsy like some but soft and pliable while still protecting your hands

Have used these for years, they wear better than the best cowhide gloves and stay soft after being wet. Can't say enough good about them.....

My son is seven and they fit! Very nice for the price. Buy from Discount Work Gear.
