Good mild-duty gloves. Good for basic work outdoors in the yard or the garage. Great fit and good grip. Allows good dexterity and control. I wear these on the tractor, but slip into heavy leather gloves when doing something rough. Thee are fine when using tools, and prevent most of the scrapes and bumps that add up to sore hands. I use them a lot when stacking firewood, which eventually tears them up pretty good.

They are not even close to weatherproof. Water will soak right through them, which is a feature on a hot day when you sweat. These are not winter gloves, though I wear them as liners in the winter under heavier gloves. On their own they will keep the worst of the cold bite from you for a few minutes, but the wind and cold will get through pretty fast. And if they get wet, you are in frostbite territory in minutes. My advice if you get these wet on a cold day is get them off fast.

Overall, good gloves. I have burned through 3-4 pairs in the last 18 months (I do a lot of work). I came back to buy another one and am disappointed to see Amazon is selling the small size for more than the MSRP. The medium, large and extra-large are all below MSRP.

What gives, Amazon?

It is very difficult to find decent gloves to fit a woman's hand. All women's gloves I have seen are worthy only of potting plants, not real work. I'd been using a very similar looking, small, men's leather gloves from a big-box store, but the fingers would wear out very quickly.

These have been great so far. I love the extra piece of leather on the first two fingers and the thumb, which is where the others always wore out. There is a little extra padding on the palm and knuckles. The padding may make them a little warmer than typical light-duty gloves. The side of the forefinger is reinforced as well. The construction overall is very good.

The small size fits my hands (which are med/large women's size) well, although it is a tad bit bigger than my usual brand. I am very happy so far and will follow up in time when they are used more.

Update: 5 Months later and they are holding up great. I have been doing a lot of shoveling and working with chicken wire, cement blocks and gravel. They have been used in both wet and dry situations.

Good grip, ergonomic, flexible, soft on the inside. Okay for use in hot weather, but not insulated for winter (I used them in winter anyway with hot hands or other gloves). Fit well for a small woman's hands with the same quality as most large men's gloves, unlike a lot of sub-par protective equipment made for women or small sizes. Stand up well to washing and daily use. Protect well from the kind of sharp objects you typically come across in an abandoned building or construction site, including bits of glass and thorns. Also good for touching metal objects that have been out in the sun. You can manipulate the fingers easily for most grasping tasks, and you can still feel enough through them to know that you're grabbing what you want to grab if you're in a dark crawlspace or something. Touch screen use works occasionally, but not reliable (pretty much what I expect from any brand that makes that claim - the only protective gloves I would expect to really be touch screen compatible are those with removable finger tips). Water will eventually go through them, but if you accidentally put your hands on some snow or in a puddle, your hand won't get wet immediately.

I work as a Lineman and I have gone through dozens of work gloves so therefore I can tell just by the feel of gloves as to whether or not they are good and can stand up to performance. These gloves are of good quality and they DO function very well using touch screen service on your phones. They are very very well made and will last a while. Durability wise they will take a beating and so for the price it is worth buying. I like the look and feel of these gloves. The smell is horrible so you may want to wash them first. They used some type of processing chemical on them. Otherwise I will buy again and again.

I purchased the size small of these gloves and they are perfect for my crafty little woman hands. I've had trouble finding small work gloves (that aren't a tragic shade of pink - egads) that fit correctly. I do a lot of sanding and so far these gloves are just the ticket. They fit a little snug across the palm/thumb area, but I feel like the gloves will relax a bit after I break them in more. My hands (from tip of middle finger to wrist) are 6.5 inches long. There is plenty of room in the fingers, but if you have wider hands, I would possibly consider going a size up since they fit so snug across the palm.

Touch screen tips are wearing out, threads are coming off. good thing it is double stiched. but I would think this would have lasted more than 1 year. I wash them in the washer and dryer on auto so that might have something to do with it. but dexterity is only mimimally compromised with these gloves. fits nicely. I am 5'7" from wrist to middle finger is about 6.5 inches and the size small fit me perfectly not extra at the end or tight fit around the joints. the touchscreen was perfect before it started wearing out. I use these gloves almost daily for everything.

I bought these gloves a year ago and it's time for new gloves. The pair I got a year ago is starting to wear down after having seen their fair share of action. I keep looking for a better pair of gloves and ending up back here thinking I should just buy these again. I'm a woman with small hands and need at least moderate protection. Looking for construction level gloves in my small size has been challenging. These gloves seem like the best compromise for the price I can find. I'll probably buy these again and keep looking for something better.

Awesome gloves for small hands! I used these as a volunteer with All Hands in Nepal after the earthquake to help clear debris from work sites. I loved the adjustable wrists so I didn't get the gloves filled with mud and sand. The padding on knuckles was key because I bumped into plenty of things. I was impressed how long they lasted, but they are not bulletproof. After about 4 days I had holes in the fabric (not the seams) which was enough to repair on finger tips, back of hand and finger webbing. The stitches stayed and I resumed work like usual. A couple days later I blew out a seam in the index finger which I have yet to repair. The rest of the team either bring their own or use what's provided (soft leather garden gloves or basic split hide work gloves) but some folks could destroy a pair per day. I was hapy that even with a few repairs mine lasted for a month of work. I would love to get in touch with Leathercraft to let them know how coveted my gloves were there to see if they'd like to support the ongoing relief efforts and give a care kit to the groups working their hands to the bone in monsoon season.

I'm a 17 yo girl who works in frozen/dairy at a grocery store. I'm also ironically allergic to extreme cold. (It's a long story) These gloves are the best gloves I've found. They're pretty durable and hold up a long time. Their main downfall is that if you have nails and are working like I do, your nails rub and rip through the tips. They keep my hands really warm and are flexible and good for stocking shelves. They let me keep a strong grip while protecting my poor lil hands. Typically one set of gloves lasts me 2 months, but that's because I obviously wear a lot of holes into my fingertips. The touchscreen is iffy, the coating wears off after a while for me, but that's not why I bought it so it doesn't dissuade me.

I bought these despite warnings that they won't last long for anything more demanding, such as working at UPS. And I worked at UPS. I just wanted something cheap to cover up my hands because I was getting cuts that wouldn't heal due to putting continuous stress on them. These did the job and made things more comfortable for me. For about a month anyway, which I suppose was long enough for my hands to heal up.

I can't knock these gloves too much for doing more work with them than they're capable of handing. On the bright side, they were comfortable and it was easy to grip things like large packages and all the other nonsense that comes through UPS (crates, giant metal bars, etc.) But for sorting a few thousand packages a day and being dragged on a conveyor belt, they just weren't built to hold up for that long.

So buy these gloves if you're going to use them to workout or do lighter work.
