I ordered these little flashlights to include as the main item in goody bags at my son's birthday party. I liked that they came with batteries already installed and with lanyards already attached. I liked the material that the outside of the flashlight is made with -- kind of rubberized feeling, though I assume it's plastic. The colors were all cute, and the green was a good gender-neutral green. It's a little darker than the photo shows (still in the teal family). To make the flashlights work initially, you do have to unscrew the end and remove a piece of plastic film so the batteries will make contact. This was easy to do. One out of the eighteen flashlights did not work at all. A metal component inside the end cap seemed bent. I could not adjust it correctly. The light would light up and then go off once the on/off button on the end was released. I had enough flashlights for the goody bags anyway, but if you are counting on having all eighteen work, you should order early and check them immediately. I did not try to get a replacement/refund because I didn't really need eighteen flashlights anyway, so I can't comment on the customer service from the vendor. Also, it's worth mentioning that these flashlights are *really* bright. Most people will probably see this as a plus, but since my kids are shining them all over the bedroom at night, I actually wish they were slightly dimmer. I was very happy overall with this purchase. (I did not receive special pricing when I bought these flashlights, though a few weeks after-the-fact, Amazon did offer me a few dollars to write a review.)
This is everything the write-up on Amazon claimed. All my flashlights worked perfectly. Packed nicely. Looked great. Advertised colors / quantities. What more could you ask?
My only (tiny) issue was for some reason, I was expecting the plastic divider to keep the batteries fresh to be opaque. (Perhaps having them be that way in some other such device). The dividers in these are very thin and transparent, so I didn't even see it when I first looked. Once I got the joke, they're very easy to remove, or leave in place, depending on how you plan to use a particular flashlight.
Since they include the batteries, you certainly can't argue with the price. I have all I need for the cars, house, etc. with these, and can give some to friends, who appreciate the gesture.
Obviously, I can't speak to the durability of these yet, but I think they are similar to some I'd gotten perhaps 6 to 8 years ago, and wanted more. If so, the only thing that went wrong with those ten or so was one of the LED's went out in one of them.
The only "issue" I had with those was my (and Duracell's) fault. My experience with old Duracells is terrible re them leaking and ruining the devices they're in. I don't see this nearly as often as other brands. If I'd just replaced the batteries every few years or so, I think they'd still be going strong.
(Now with the 10 year rated shelf life batteries this MAY go better, depending on the environment.)
But I couldn't be happier with these. The only thing that remains to be seen is how durable there are, and it will take years to tell.
The feature I like best is the rubber surface of the flashlights. I always keep a flashlight handy on my night table. I also keep them on my boat to brighten up those dark spaces in my engine room.
I was nervous about getting these, due to some mixed reviews on similar flashlights, but these arrived, and all worked (after the protective plastic was removed). Can’t speak to the longevity (yet). They were purchased to give out as Halloween favors to kids in our neighborhood, and i’m Fairly confident it will at least get kids through Halloween night. (Will update my review if i’m wrong).
Great pack of small flashlights. All of them worked and had batteries already installed. Have had them for roughly 2 months and they all still work great.

We love these flashlights. I purchased a couple several years ago at Walmart and loved them, but was having trouble finding them again. I was happy to find the same exact ones here on Amazon. They are lightweight and last a long time before having to replace the batteries. You'll know when to change the batteries because they'll start dimming. All 10 worked great (after you remove the plastic protector just inside the end where it screws off - I forgot to do this initially and thought they didn't work). My bad. Great little flashlights and an excellent price as well. Who needs 10? Me, just in case I can't find them again in the future.
Best small flashlights by far. I have ordered many different small flashlights for use in small dark places w/o light like closets, low cupboards etc. Also, to have in all areas of the house in case of power outage. None have been as good as these in brightness and area span of light. These out perform all others in every way. Plus they come with batteries already installed. Forget every other flashlight, buy these.
I ordered 2 boxes of 18 flashlights to go in Christmas stockings. They all came with batteries and they all worked. They seem to be very well-made, and are in cute colors.
I like the rubberized finish--it seems easier to grip than the metal finish.
I looked in my local stores for similar flashlights and they didn't come with batteries. So these are a really good deal!
These went into Christmas care packages that some of my friends and I put together in early December to pass out to the local homeless population. It seemed to me that if you were homeless in the winter a small bright flashlight would come in handy. We were aiming for things that would last a little while, like socks, gloves, hand warmers, tooth brushes and tooth paste, and sturdy reusable bags to hold the items.
I bought this product for a birthday party. They are really bright and I love that they come with batteries. The only problem is that it's a little hard to screw the top back on. I would definitely recomend buying this peoduct.
