Tough gloves. I've gone thru several boxes of these over the past several years and have never been disappointed. I use them for automotive repair and scrapping large quantities of non-ferrous metal as well as other dirty/greasy jobs.. They usually last 4 to 8 hours of work. Many times I use them again the next day before they tear..(Of course they will tear if you drag them over a sharp jagged edge). I also use them when mixing and applying herbicide as well as when acid etching. They are absolutely impervious to chemical penetration.
I highly recommend them.

I purchased this glove as a safety glove to keep my hands clean when I am among infectious people/objects. I did not know at the time about lightning gloves, I brought it because it is black, and I wanted something that was not as noticeable. I was going to use it in an area where others do not use gloves, and I did not want others to be asking me why was I wearing them. (I am a little bit of a germ phobic.
These gloves are strong, fit tightly, and protects your hands. Two thing I notice is that my hands had perspiration
when I remove the gloves. Also they are not as flexable as I thought. I purchase 2 different brands of gloves that day, this one my hands perspires less than the other one I use, but this one is also more expensive. I have to say I use the other one more, mostly because it is more flexable, and cheaper. I am reserving this one for heavier use because it is stronger and more expensive, and I do not want to waste it. I would recommend this one for real heavy duty jobs, if not buy a cheaper brand if it is for another use other than stated.

Good price on some very high quality nitrile gloves. I've used a lot of the thinner light blue nitrile gloves and they're usually good enough, but they'll usually tear after a few hours of use. I've also used heavier dark blue semi-disposable nitrile gloves that are almost impossible to tear but they're so thick that I lose the feel that I need when working with my hands. The Black Lightning nitrile gloves are the perfect thickness for shop use. They're very durable but I can still feel what I'm doing. They're great to keep cutting oil and coolant off my hands when machining, and they're good to keep anodizing dye and mild acids off my hands when doing various chemical processes. For sulfuric acid and concentrated acids, I have longer chemical resistant gloves, but the Black Lightening gloves are good to protect against exposure to most chemicals such as fertilizer, pesticides, lead dust and oxides, etc.

These gloves will also protect you from Ebola, which might come in handy.

I have tried close to a dozen different makes and models of disposable gloves.

I tried different materials - latex, nitrile, vinyl and all the other makers seem to be either incapable (or unwilling) to make a glove that fits tightly and yet is strong enough not to tear easily.

Black Lightning (Atlantic Safety Products Lightning) gloves are the only on the market that offer predictable and tight fitting sizes and are also incredibly strong to resist tearing up even under heavy duty use (working on your car, construction, gunsmithing or whatever else you can throw their way). The price reflects the quality, but how much are your hands worth to you, especially if torn glove results in contact with some nasty chemicals or something else that you're trying to keep from keeping in contact with your skin? Not to mention that time wasted washing hands or changing gloves is also a waste of productivity and therefore money.

Here is a sizing tip though.

These gloves are sized according to the normal "dress glove" size charts. So, if your dress glove size is Small, you should order the Black Lightning gloves in size Small. Even if the fit ends up being tighter than expected, given their strength they will still work for you. You should obviously make sure they're not overly tight though - if you notice drop in blood circulation then remove them immediately and go for the next larger size.

Look for Lee Parks Designs Glove Size Chart online if you don't know your actual dress/riding glove size.

Ciao!

I go through about two pair per job, up to CV half-axle replacement. They keep my hands clean, and can be wiped when they're too greasy. I've been saved from scratches by having the glove tear instead. Your hands will sweat a lot, but you don't feel it until you take the gloves off.

Great gloves. I use these when cleaning my rifle as to avoid getting carbon and CLP all over my skin, as well as for just general purpose situations where I need basic nitrile gloves around the house. I purchased the X-Large as my hands do not fit normal or large size nitrile gloves and I found these to fit well but still be a little bit snug in some areas. I recommend checking out the X-Large size if your hands are a bit above normal or if other gloves are snug in the medium size.

This is the second box of these gloves I've bought for myself. I've also purchased two other boxes for family members. They are great for a variety of tasks, especially handling greasy and dirty substances such as motor oils or bathroom cleaning liquids. They are surprisingly tough and resistant to snagging. They are great for changing car oil and filter. While you could work in garden dirt with them, they would not be good for working with thorny plants.

These gloves are thick, tight fitting, and flexible, as advertised. Thicker than most kinds of gloves, but compared to the last box of gloves I bought, Im disappointed. These arent as tough, and not as flexible, but also cheaper than another brand.

I use them for automotive work with hand tools. These gloves hold up fine for maybe an hour (or less) before they rip somewhere. Im comparing this to other gloves Ive used that can last the whole job, or maybe one glove change if Im doing something hard. Still, these gloves hold up pretty well, and provide decent protection from little scrapes and scratches.

I'll buy the more expensive brand next time, but Im not mad at these. I'll use them until theyre gone. I'd totally recommend them for lighter or quicker tasks.

I've tried many gloves working as an automotive technician, handling parts full of oil, gasoline, brake fluid, acetone, transmission fluid, differential fluid, coolant, grease and many other things. These are the best gloves I've used to date. They fit nice and snug, are very tough, and are comfortable.

Great gloves.not some cheap thin ones.they stand up to some good abuse.dont rip and easy to get on and take off.wish I knew about these a long time ago.would have saved me on some good cuts and scratches when working on cars.just wish the price wasent so high.
