Warmth/Waterproof - I sealed these up with Sno-Seal when I received them and they have been waterproof and warm. Everyone has different cold sensitivity, but for me they are good down to about 15-20 if I'm working hard, and about 25-30 if I'm just sitting around. Any colder than that and I'll start to get cold fingers after an hour or so. I've been using these mostly for splitting/stacking wood this winter and they've been great. I haven't used them in a cold rain yet, but I don't get wet hands or waterlogged leather from handling slushy wet snow.

Size - In hindsight I should have got a size medium. My hand measures 7.25" form wrist to middle finger tip, and 8.5" around my hand with a tape measure (circumference of your palm). Kinco's website says that 8"-9" palm circumference should be a Medium; they are correct. Definitely go with Kinco's recommended sizes. I ordered the wrong size and lose a little dexterity since my finger tips don't go all the way to the end of the glove. No problem swinging a maul though and probably a little warmer with the extra room.

Durability - These seem to be made as well as any leather work glove I've owned before. The extra reinforcement on the fingers should add some extra life. All stitching is well done and holding up well so far.

I applied a coat of Sno-Seal to these gloves and used them all winter in Fargo ND to shovel and snow blow out from four blizzards (tough winter for sure). They kept my hands warm and were very easy in terms of fit and flexibility. I also went skiing with them in Colorado and they worked very well.

Applying the Sno-Seal really made them fully waterproof and also darkened the gloves some, which i really liked the look

And, the best part is you can't beat the price for such a great glove. I even had a snow mobile guide in Colorado wearing the same pair and he said they are the best gloves he's owned.

I absolutely love these and can't recommend these more! I live in Montana and went through a LOT of gloves before I found these. Kinco is the best value in the glove game period. You do need to use a waterproof product. I highly recommend Snoseal. These will last and keep you warm and dry. They are made out of leather so use common sense they will eventually get wet but for normal use and skiing/snowboarding they are great.

My first pair of Kinco gloves. Seem to be very well made. Due to solid construction, they require a bit of break-in.
I primarily use these for skiing and various outdoor chores in the snow.
They came with NikWax sealer which is a nice bonus.

Pair this with some snoseal or nikwax and never buy an overpriced pair of ski gloves again. My last pair were still fine after 5 seasons of heavy use and I only had to replace them because I lost them.

Holy cow. Been searching for great ski gloves for decades. Instead of buying pairs of $100+ gloves, I should have bought two of these -- one for the am and one for the pm. If treated with snow deal properly I'm sure they would stand up to the terrain and snow. It's a reason you see dozens of hill personnel wearing them

great gloves

My husband loves these.
