I am a wildlife rehabilitator and have to handle baby squirrels and raccoons to feed them while in my care. Almost always I end up with puncture and bloody scratch marks on my hands and forearms. i bought this for my wife as she works in a school cafateria and needs protection from hot ovens and demanding food preperation. i also see a use for me while working around automobiles.it's very comfortable to wear and being kevlar based will provide the protection we need.i esp like the thumbhole as it keeps the sleeve from "creeping" up your arm while working and provides partial hand protection as well.
I have an autistic daughter that uses this to prevent her from biting her wrist which it does a very good job. My complaint is the color. It looks beautiful out of the bag. It becomes an ugly yellow within a few times of use and doesn't return to the pretty yellow which makes it look dirty and then requires a new one.
Have a cat that bites. These keep him from biting someone.
Had recent hand surgery for which they create a custom plastic hand and arm splint, though they give me thin cotton liners they were flimsy. Ordered a set of these and they are PERFECT. Comfortable and cushioning

I purchased this sleeve because I kept burning my arm curling my hair. I like that the sleeve goes up to just below my elbow and protects my arm again my dangerous curling iron.
These are perfect. I am fostering 3 baby raccoons who have rather long nails. These gloves provide protection while I bottle feed them.
They do a pretty good job while handling rabbits, but are not by any means, going to keep you from their claws.
